staffie, please help, having a mare trying to find the band by the band. hol search returns hundreds of results, none of which is what i'm after... same problem when looking elsewhere! it may be the vodka! cheers

Todays first download is a set by The Who which was recorded in Toronto, Ontario, Canada in December 1982. This set is in superb quality and is a wicked set as the band belt out a string of great tracks. If you like The Who, you must grab this one - this is a top notch bootleg and is throughly recommended....... Todays second download is a set by Styx that was recorded in Orlando, FLA in June 1999. This is in superb quality - the audio has been taken from a tv broadcast. This was the final concert that keyboards player and vocalist Dennis De Young played with the band. The notes say that at this time he was not even speaking to other band members. Apart from that, this is a great sounding show and one for any fans of this band. I will be posting some more boots by them in the next week or two.. Todays extra download is only the second bootleg by this band that I've posted. They are Killing Joke and this is a bootleg that was recorded at the Hammersmith Apollo in October last year. This is in superb quality and is a great set. If you like KJ then give this one a listen.... it's not bad at all....... staffie, I'm in a bit of a classical mood today, and heard a cracking track from this album on the radio this morning. Any chance you might be able to locate Caprice by Alison Balsom [Link] please? She's a fantastic trumpeter who has done trumpet arrangements of pieces written for other instruments, and done them bloody well too! Edited by Mr Statto (31 Jan 2011 11.51am)
