Hi staffie, Wonder if I might request a couple of albums. The 1st is Steve Harley's Stranger Comes To Town. The 2nd is probably a bit of a challenge, it's David Ackles the album is called American Gothic. Thanks in advance, but no worries if you can't get them.

I'm afraid the first album by Steve Harley is the challenge. It's not showing anywhere - I've added it to the "To Find" list and will keep an eye out for it... Here's the David Ackles album......

Todays first download is a set by Black Sabbath which was recorded at the Reading Festival in 1983. This is in superb quality - the audio has been taken from a live FM broadcast of the set. I doubt if this is the whole set though - seems very short. The band do however play some classic Sabbath tracks - even though legendary front man Ozzy Osbourne isn't in the line up for this one - the band is fronted by Ian Gillan on vocals. If you like Sabbath then this is thoroughly recommended..... Todays second download is a set by early Simon & Garfunkel which was recorded at the Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore MD in 1966. For a bootleg that is nearly 50 years old - this is in superb quality - really top notch, I was surprised when I listened to it as to how good it is. They play some real oldies and the only songs I instantly recognised were I Am A Rock and The Sound Of Silence. If you like S&G then this is thoroughly recommended - the best early S&G bootleg I've ever heard....
