Todays first download is the first album or bootleg that I`ve posted by this band. The band are called Pentangle and they were active in the late 1960`s and early 70's. For a bootleg that^s over 40 years old this is in superb quality and is a top sounding bootleg. This band also feature Bert Jansch who died recently. If you like Pentangle or Bert Jansch, this is thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is a set by Lloyd Cole and his Small Ensemble which was recorded in Nashville, TN in June of this year. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show. This is the first boot by LC and the Ensemble that I`ve posted, although I`ve posted a lot with the Commotions. He does play some tracks from albums that were recorded with the Commotions on this boot - which is thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is a set by Adrian Smith & The Untouchables. Some of you will know that Adrian Smith is a member of Iron Maiden and this is a solo project of his. This is a boot that was recorded in 1992 and is in superb quality. There are 4 songs (3 live & 1 demo) on this boot and it also contains a video of one of the tracks. This band sound more melodic-hard rock than Iron Maidens hard metal. Only a short boot, but one that is thoroughly recommended. Thanks for the recent stuff staffie. I hope your PC comes back today. Can i request an album by Faith no More , called "The Real Thing" ? I'm surprised it hasn't been posted before, but couldn't see it in my album collection and I did a HOL search, but nothing showing. No rush, and thanks in advance Forest
