This is bugging me because i used the HOL search engine and found the live album you posted, but i have a few of the studio tracks on my MP3 files, and they can only have come from the MP3 thread. Todays first download is a set by Elvis Costello that was recorded in Chicago in December 1977. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an WXRT-FM broadcast. Some classics on this one like "Radio Radio" "Watching The Detectives" and "Pump It Up" are all played. I've previously posted another show from this tour - the show from Cleveland, Ohio - both are FM sourced, this set is slightly shorter. If you like EC & TA this is thoroughly recommended. Todays second download is a set by The Kinks that was recorded on the bands US tour of 1988. This is in superb quality and is a top sounding sounboard recording. I've posted lots of boots and albums by The Kinks over the years - this is another great sounding show. Ray Davies knows how to handle an audience and he really gets this one going as he plays a top selection of the bands work over the years. He plays the hit singles "Ape Man" "Come Dancing" "All Day And All Of The Night" "A Well Respected Man" "You Really Got Me" and ending with the classic "Lola". This is a crackin' show that is thoroughly recommended. Todays extra download is a set by the late Ronnie James Dio that was recorded in Pforzheim, Germany in 1987. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show. I've posted a few boots by Dio in the past both solo and also with various bands he's been associated with. This is a great set that is thoroughly recommended...
