Todays first download is a set by Madonna that was recorded in Paris, France on the 26th July this year. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and is top notch. According to my files I've not posted many boots by Madonna - only a handful, which is surprising. This is a good one but it's too short - I doubt if it's the whole show, but if you like Madonna this is a good one for the collection... Todays second download is a set by The Cars that was recorded at the Old Waldorf in San Francisco on the 19th August 1978. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show on KSAN-FM Radio's "Sunday Night Live" program. I've not posted that many boots by this band as good quality ones are rare and hard to come by. This is a good one and if you like The Cars you will want this one.. a great version of the classic "Best Friends Girl" is played - thoroughly recommended.... Here's what is possibly the last ever show by Blur - last nights gig in Hyde Park, London. The audio quality is superb and has been taken from an FM Broadcast on Absolute Radio. The download is a continuous mp3 file - part 1 is the main show - part 2 is the encore. The total playing time is just under two hours. The audience are well up for this one - which kicks off with "Girls & Boys"... The rest isnt tracklisted - but I'm sure that a bootleg with seperate tracks will be along soon..... but in the meantime, here's the whole show..... Todays first download is the closing ceremony of the London Olympic Games which ended on Sunday just gone. The audio for this has been ripped from the BBC HDTV Stream and sounds top notch. If you watched the ceremony and liked the show - here's the audio - definitely one for the collection.... Todays second download is a set by America that was recorded at the Whisky A-Go-Go in Los Angeles, CA in November 1972. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast of the show. This show was originally posted in 2008 - this is an upgraded version, albeit shorter. Some "Drop Outs" have been fixed and the hiss removed - which was present on the previous version. Apparently this is a second generation tape of the show - the previous version was thought to be fifth gen. This sounds a lot better - and if you like America, this is thoroughly recommended... Hi staffie I'm after a sampler album from Some Bizzare records called "If You Can't Please Yourself You Can't, Please Your Soul" released in 1985. I'm not sure I'll like it but it does sound very interesting and contains some rare stuff! Cheers & thanks for all the Olympic stuff, most enjoyable.
