Todays first download is a set by Blind Faith that was recorded in Santa Barbara, CA in August 1969. This is in superb quality for a bootleg thats over 40 years old - the audio was taken from the soundboard. This band were possibly the first ever "Supergroup" and featured Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood, Ginger Baker and Rick Grech. Unfortunately, the band didn't stay together for long and only ever played about 30 live shows so good quality recordings are really rare. A wicked version of the classic "Crossroads" on this one, which is thoroughly recommended..... Todays second download is a set by The Gaslight Anthem that was recorded on the 5th of this month at the Lollapalooza Festival in Chicago. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. I've posted a few bootlegs and albums by this band - this is another top set and a good addtion to the collection.... Todays first download is a set by Boz Scaggs & Les Dudek that was recorded in Atlanta, GA in April 1973. This is in superb quality for a boot thats nearly 40 years old - the audio has been taken from the soundboard. There is a little tape hiss, but this isnt noticed when the band are playing. Boz has been around for ages and is still going today. This boot does't contain his most famous song "Lido Shuffle" but it's still a top bootleg with some great tracks on it. If you like Boz then grab this one - its thoroughly recommended..... Todays first download is a set by Deep Purple featuring Joe Satriani that was recorded in St Gallen, Switzerland in 1994. This is in superb quality and is a wicked fm recording of the show. I've posted a few bootlegs by Deep Purple over the years, but not many featuring Joe Satriani on guitar... this is great stuff - thoroughly recommended...
