Todays second download is a set bz .38 Special that was recorded in Atlanta, GA in 1981. This show was rebroadcast recently on BBC 6Music FM and is in superb quality. This band is from the Lynyrd Skynyrd family and features Donnie Van Zant on Vocals. This is southern rock at its best and this is a great set - but too short. If you don`t know this band, try them - they rock big time..... Todays first download is a set by Deep Purple featuring Joe Satriani that was recorded in St Gallen, Switzerland in 1994. This is in superb quality and is a wicked fm recording of the show. I've posted a few bootlegs by Deep Purple over the years, but not many featuring Joe Satriani on guitar... this is great stuff - thoroughly recommended... Todays first download is a set by The Specials that was recorded in Londons Hyde Park on the 12th of this month. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM Broadcast on Absolute radio. This show was part of the London Olympic celebrations and is a top set which ends with the classic "Too Much Too Young". This is thoroughly recommended. Todays second download is the first album or bootleg by this artist that I've posted. They are the Rick Springfield band and this is a show that was recorded for the "Supergroups In Concert" radio show on the ABC Rock Radio Network. The show was recorded in Springfield, Illinois on 3rd September 1983 and is in superb quality. I know nothing about this artist except he started in 1967 and is still performing today. He has released many albums and has also appeared on numberous tv series and films. This show is wicked and it rocks big time - so if you dont know this band - try them..... Todays first download is a set by The Scorpions that was recorded in Vladivostok, Russia in 2002 while the band were on the "Living" . This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and sounds top notch. This is a top set by the band which ends with the classic "Rock You Like A Hurricane" and "When The Smoke Is Going Down". This rocks big time and is thoroughly recommended..
