Todays first download is a set by former Genesis front man and founder Peter Gabriel that was recorded at the Woodstock Festival USA on the 14th August 1994. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted loads of PG stuff in the past - this is another top sounding show for the collection. A top setlist which includes the hits "Solsbury Hill" "Sledgehammer" and "In Your Eyes". If you like Peter Gabriel you wont go wrong with this one ... this is thoroughly recommended... Todays second download is a set by Tracy Chapman that was recorded in Denver, Colorado on the 12th February 1991. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch - great quality sound. According to my files this is the first bootleg by TC that I've posted - but not the first album. Some great stuff on this one including "Fast Car" - if you like Tracy Chapman, then this is thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is the 12th disc in a 15 disc set of the complete Live Aid shows in London and Philadelphia on the 13th July 1985 which I started posting recently. The shows were organised by Bob Geldorf and raised aid money for countries like Ethiopia and Somalia and others. A whole host of stars gave their services to the shows including.... David Bowie, Phil Collins, Elvis Costello, Dire Straits, Elton John, Paul McCartney, Queen, Status Quo, Sting, U2, Ultravox, Wham, The Who, Bryan Adams, The Beach Boys,! The Cars, Black Sabbath, Eric Clapton, Duran Duran, Hall & Oates, Mick Jagger, Judas Priest, Kenny Loggins, Billy Ocean, Ozzy Osbourne, Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, REO Speedwagon, Lionel Richie, Santana, Simple Minds, Tears For Fears, Tina Turner, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, Sade, Patti LaBelle, Nik Kershaw, Band Aid, among others. The quality of the shows is superb and the audio has been taken from BBC FM radio broadcasts of the shows. This is a great bootleg set and is thoroughly recommended.... Todays first download is a set by former Traffic frontman and founder Steve Winwood that was recorded at the Manchester Opera House on the 22nd May 1997. I've posted a lot of Steve Winwood boots over the years - but I don't think I've posted any that are in such good quality as this one - a fantastic pre-fm recording. It's a really great set as well, starting off with a real oldie from SW's days with the Spencer Davis group and the classic "I'm A Man" then immediately jumping forward about 25 years and one of his solo hits "Roll With It". The set finishes up with 3 of his biggest tracks.. the classic "Keep On Runnin", "Higher Love" and ending with "Gimme Some Lovin". This is easily one of the best sounding Steve Winwood bootlegs in existence... I've heard worse oficially released live albums than this one.... If you like Steve Winwood you must have this one... Todays second download is a recent set by Babyshambles that was recorded at the Rock Am Ring Festival in Germany on the 8th June 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. This is the first Babyshambles show I've seen for ages, so grabbed it immediately. If you like Pete Doherty and Babyshambles then grab this one.... this is thoroughly recommended..
