Todays first download is a set by Roger Waters that was recorded in Lucca, Italy on the 12th July 2006. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from an FM broadcast of the set and it sounds top notch. I've posted a lost of Roger Waters albums and bootlegs over the years and this is another top sounding show for the collection. Roger dedicates the whole show to Syd Barrett... Todays second download is a set by Elvis Costello & The Attractions that was recorded at the Hammersmith Palais, London on the 17th October 1983. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from a Pre FM broadcast that has been remastered - and it sounds fantastic. Some real classics on this one including "Olivers Army", "Alison" and "Pump It Up" all being played. EC is joined by Afrodiziak for backing vocals as well as the TKO Horns. This is a wicked show and if you like Elvis Costello, this is thoroughly recommended... Todays extra download is a set by Porcupine Tree guitarist Steven Wilson that was recorded in Frankfurt, Germany on the 23rd March 2013. This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. According to my files this is the first booteg by Steven Wilson I've posted as a solo artist - but I've posted many album and bootlegs by Porcupine Tree which feature him. This is great stuff and if you like PT you will know what to expect. If you don't, then grab this short download and have a listen... this is wicked and is thoroughly recommended.... Todays first download is a set by Roger Hodgson that was recorded at the Motor City Casino, Detroit, Michigan on the 6th November 2014. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. When I saw this show I could not believe my eyes - Roger Hodgson boots in this quality don't come around very often... and as soon as I saw this one I grabbed it. This is a cracking show with RH reliving his Supertramp days with 14 of the 19 songs played from his Supertramp catalogue - which includes a good selection from Crime Of The Century (My favourite all time album). I've posted loads of Supertramp/Roger Hodgson shows in the past and if you've grabbed any of those - then grab this one as well.... this is the mutts and is thoroughly recommended... and then some!.. Todays second download is a bootleg recorded at the Open Air Festival 2009 and features sets from Simple Minds and AHA. These recordings are in superb quality and the audio for the sets have been taken from the soundboard and they sound top notch. I don't have any other info as to where/when these were recorded, but it's the music that counts and that's wicked. A top setlist by both bands which includes the hits by Simple Minds "Don't You Forget About Me" and "Alive And Kicking" and by AHA the hits "Hunting High And Low" and "Take On Me". If you like Simple Minds or AHA then grab this show... this is thoroughly recommended... Todays first download is a set by Eric Clapton that was recorded at the Convention Center, San Antonio, Texas on the 11th December 1976. This is in superb quality and the audio for the show has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've lost count of the amount of bootlegs by EC I've posted over the years - loads and loads, he always puts on a good show and this is no exception. Some classics played on this one include "Hello Old Friend" "I Shot The Sheriff" and "Layla" all being played. If you've downloaded any of the previous shows - then grab this one as well... top stuff and thoroughly recommended... This is in superb quality and the audio for the set has been taken from the soundboard and it sounds top notch. I've posted loads of shows by Sting in the past - both as a solo performer as well as with The Police. This is a top set with the hits "Englishman In New York" "Every Breath You Take" and "Message In A Bottle" being played. If you like Sting then grab this show... this is thoroughly recommended...
