In the early 70's Timpsons ran the official club coaches, but a crowd of us went on a coach owned by Duvals, organised by Paul Creech, always about 2 bob cheaper. Often stopped at a pub called the Red Lion, somewhere in Northampton on the way back. This was always sung: Duvals will roam Crystal Palace will roam Another verse had the line football to win was the task

From a corner or freekick ' Scooooooooooooore'.. I can only remember us actually scoring twice though so never join in with it myself and get the hump when others do as it invariably means we aint gonna bleedin score !

Lots of funny ones over the years. Sung to the tune of the Gina G son (ooh aah just a little bit) Oooh aaah just a little bit Someones crossing the ball Wayne Carlisle, 'We are Palace' when sung to the max still gives me goosebumps so prob my favorite.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

Any of you old timers remember this pre-decimilisation chant? Fish & Chips Half a Crown, Fish and Chips Half a Crown Remember singing this on away day trips on Coach 3 in our first season in the old 1st Division !!

Cinatra's was a nightclub near West Croydon, corner of Sumner rd and London rd, early 80's. They did the £12 entry all you can eat and drink!! Yes, absolutely w*ankered most visits. My mate was woken up once the following morning around 7am by a postie shouting down at him, he was in a gas main roadworks hole about 8 foot deep he'd fallen in on his way home! Happy days.
