Well I think if CPFC2010 dont issue any statements and we dont see anything concrete and no quotes to contradict this story in the media between now and Saturday night I would think Howe has asked for time to manage his team for one last game to say goodbye to his players and the fans and staff etc and will come after that. Palace owners possibly just being patient and respecting the fact that Howe wants to show loyalty and respect to a club he loves.
It's only my opinion but I think no news is good news. Parish himself indicated they dont want to hang around if they can help it. Meaning if Howe has indicated strongly that he wont be coming they will be moving on to other targets, and we will likely hear about that the same as we heard about this.

To me, this looks like a done deal. I doubt the 'interview' will be on a Friday, for obvious reasons, so Palace and Howe have probably met already, probably in a hotel somewhere off the M3.

Bigger clubs attract players/managers from smaller clubs. Bournemouth do it to others. Pugh our winger came from Hereford and lots from non-league.
