Let's wait a see. If he does go to Charlton, then the rivalry will increase as it'll be the second manager they've nicked off us.

I wouldn't mind Curbishley, actually.

Palace Radio: What exactly does David Wright bring to the side?

Alan Lee: Nothing.

Echo seem to think we may go back in with a second offer. I am thinking it is more and more likely Howe has been playing us along all along, trying to get more money out of Eddie Mitchell.

I see what you mean - but there is simply no chance of this being the case. Bournemouth have no money, and Howe knows this more than anyone.

If he stays with Bournemouth, it will not be for cash.

Quite simply, he is making the biggest decision of his career and is trying to get himself the right move. There is nothing surprising or sinister about this.

The Three Twerps were one twerp short... again!

The Echo:

"Echo sources in South London claim Eddie Howe and Jason Tindall met with Charlton last night. It was a long meeting.
Our moles suggest they have not signed anything at the Valley."

MORE:

"We also understand Howe and Tindall have rejected an initial offer from Crystal Palace but that move is far from dead in the water despite reports linking Keith HIll with the job.

We understand Eddie Mitchell is set to offer the duo a new contract this afternoon and we expect a decision from EH and JT tonight."

EVEN MORE

Our sources in South London strongly suggest Howe and JT are still well in the running for the Crystal Palace jobs, although it is understood they have turned down a first offer for their services.

The Echo understands there could be some issues with a move to Burnley so that is looking less likely now and the Clarets have not made an official approach to the Dean Court board.

The plot thickens. Could Howe and Tindall be playing off us and Charlton against Bournemouth's chairman to get improved contracts and backing in the transfer market perhaps?

So - no approach to Rochdale, does that narrow it down to just Howe?

I don't mind too much if he turns us down, but please- anyone but Charlton...

Not because i'll be jealous of them or because I even care about that club- just because their f***ing gobby, gloaty, piked-up, we-need-a-rival-so-lets-rub-it-in, clownc***s will come on here and be so insufferable, i may consider topping my HOL-self.

Personally, if he were to come to us now I'd feel more comfortable knowing he had been to Charlton and spoken with them. It would mean that he had looked at other options and decided that we were the best one.

Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time.

Ah, but nature's balance will be restored when we avoid relegation with our new manager and they fail to secure promotion with theirs.
