That Wimbledon one is probably mine, now you mention it. Was that the game where Palace fans tried to set the stand alight?

Biggest win was my first ever match - 6-0 v Birmingham

Biggest loss was Anfield when we lost 9-0.

Highest scoring matches are the 9-0 at Anfield and a 5-4 defeat at Ewood Park in 88/89 promotion season.

I've also seen us concede 7 at Huddersfield. That was more painful.

Three matches spring to mind. The first was a Friendly in 1959 when we beat a Caribbean F.A. X1 11-1.

I also saw us beat Accrington 9-2 in 1960 & Barrow 9-0
either in 1959 or 1961.

I wipe heavy defeats from my memory so I can't answer that one.

Ditto

Is this a five minute argument, or the full half hour? [Link]

Away 9-0, Liverpool (Johnnyeagle will remember the windscreen wipers being loosened and flying off when it started snowing) and 5-0 Oxford (this was the game that the fans steamed the pie stand at the top of our terracing and suddenly 100's of Ginsters were flying everywhere FOC).

When i see him, it's gonna be painful. Skinny little cont.

Biggest win I've seen was a cracking day out. Went to stay with a mate who was at Uni in London - no realy plans to go to the game. On the Saturday morning/early afternoon, everyong was fooked from the Friday night and just laying around - so I headed to Selhurst (for the first time in quite a while at that point).

Game was against Norwich. I was queueing up for tickets when someone walked up to me randomly and gave me a free ticket - somewhere in the main stand I believe. Sweet.

After going a goal down, we won 5-1. Was just before the wheels fell off but a great day and performance with classy performances from Jansen (scored a brace), Lombardo, Curcic, Petric, Moore and Matt Svensson - oh and our equalising goal was a screamer from Nicky Rizzo - if only he'd fulfilled his potential!

Cracking day.

Assuming this was when the wombles played at Selhurst, you're saying the Palace fans tried to set their own stand alight, because it was their "away" game against Wimbledon? How very un-clever of them (us).

To answer the question, I was at the 5-0 Liverpool away league cup semi 2nd leg, 6-0 at QPR when the fat c*nt Miller went on strike, 6-1 at home to Liverpool 1st day of the season 1994, 4-0 away Man City in 1981, 4-1 home to Ippo in 2009, that's off the top of my head. I've seen us lose some games

Best wins: Brighton 5-0, Burnley 5-0, Birmingham 6-0, Stoke 6-3

Saw Palace beat Norwich 6-0 Easter 1968.

Bashing Southend 6-1 at home in 1996 (having beaten Reading 6-1 away the previous weekend).

Worst defeat goalwise I witnessed ..mmmm.. 3-5 to Man Utd in I think 1971, but at least we got three.
