Thanks for that Bubbs..I really do not like using the word "Legend" as I feel it's use way too freely nowadays.
Geoff was one of the most commited Palace players I have seen, with a big engine. He never ducked a single challenge and never knew the meaning of the word, fear, which he proved in more ways than one in later years.I don't think he ever received the amount of praise that he was worthy of and,as stated,a great guy.Which he has certainly proved as well, championing the campaign for cancer research, with his fund raising.
This coupled with his playing career has surely made him a "Legend" in his own time!!

........................Then along came Johnny Byrne! and the rest, as they say, is history.....................

apparently he was at the coventry cup game and cpfc2010 met him up there

would have thought he would make a good addition to the palace coaching staff

maybe he get the lads fitter by taking them on a few bike rides!

Or avenging Eric the Ninja by rearranging Keown's face!

George Courtney, the World Cup referee, everyone is looking at him. When will he blow....?

Great video Bubbs.

Phenomenal player. Not only was he a very talented footballer, but he was everything you could want in a midfield player and captain. Totally fearless and never gave anything less than everything he had - and expected the same from everyone else. Absolute Palace legend and a great man.

Great footage - thanks for that.

GT is my all time Palace hero and looking at his goals, I reckon I was at about 90% of those matches. Great stuff !
