Brings back great memories.

I was at Liverpool University at the same time Steve was there ( can't claim to have known him though) and remember at the time reading in the local paper about a Liverpool student i.e SC, being signed by Manchester United. My immediate thought was that he'd probably get a couple of League Cup appearances and end up at Bury or back at Tranmere.

Obviously I was slightly wrong on that one.

Furthermore, little did I imagine he would end up being one of the best managers that "my" team have ever had.

Just a tad ..I was lucky enough to meet him on several occasions and got to know him pretty well whilst he was here.
He use to share some interesting stories involved with the job and was a lovely fella,in every way!!
