How do you delete a thread?

Dont worry pal. I thought the sentiment behind the thread was worthy of a better discussion on good old fashioned honor.

Unfortunately i fear that Ashley Cole has previous with regards to his character that probably derailed the discussion before it got going.

It would be nice to see someone with a bit of honor in football. I always thought McCarthy seemed quite dignified and honest in his assessment of his or his teams general performance and from what i recall his exit from Wolves was quite dignified too. (Just to point out, i'm not an advocate for MM as palace manager, not keen on his brand of footie just his no B/S approach to the media side of things)

It's good to see that someone understood the message behind the story. After "he who shall not be named" comments I feel that even people who have such an affiliation with certain clubs and then turn their back on them at the first chance. We know that football is what it is, but do they ever learn from these throw away comments?

Has the past week taught you nothing?! Footballers only care about one thing

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

I think that was the whole point of the thread. To discuss just that point.

Do they though? Would you say Paul scholes is all about the money, what about players like ambrose, speroni, McCarthy who took pay cuts to keep the club a float. I think it's its harsh that people are tarred with the same brush

Interesting post, but a taste of scary Americanism.

There are suggestions that under the new regime at Stamford Bridge he will no longer be a part of Chelsea's future. He has previously espoused a desire to return to Palace. Would we have him ? Would he get into the team ?

It's a nice idea, but I think the £80,000 per week he commands in wages may just stymie that a slight bit.

I heard that too! It's literally all over Twitter! And Zaha to Spartak Moscow for 40 million.

I just don't know who to believe??
