The smallest post-war attendance is from the early Eighties, versus Orient on a Wednesday night in May 1982, also in the old Second Division, when 6,009 paid to get in. Fcukin plastic fans.

Living in West London I know many Chelsea fans. Some are like this guy, love to give it large to smaller clubs like a playground bully and go on about how great they are and how they're better than everyone else (when they clearly aren't even at the moment). Some are JCL's who just support them because they've won stuff recently, but quite a few (who I call their "real" fans) are desperately worried about what will happen when Abramovic gets bored and moves on. They feel their club could well implode without the Russian mafia cash and could go the way of Leeds or Portsmouth when it all becomes unsustainable. Things tend to go in circles in football, especially when a castle is built on sand. Make the most of the gloating now chelski, because it's likely all you'll have in a few years are your memories.

Not good reading. The question I raise is not only where were you when you were sh*t but in fact WHERE ARE YOU at all!!!! I think you know too well the answer to that, football teams used to be made up of players that came solely from the catchment area and had a bloke in charge who would tactically try to outdo the other with positional

I don't really see the point of this thread, I don't remember our chairman bragging about our youth team beating Chelsea's youth team last season but I'll take the OPs word for it. As much as we love our academy here I don't think even die hard Palace fans would go on Chelsea boards bragging about winning a youth game. Either way I genuinly believe our academy is better than Chelsea's. More importantly we give our young players a chance, other than Bertrand recently Chelsea cannot say the same

FA cup wins in 97 and 2000, runner up in 02. Wish we had a little bit of that averageness.
