My lil' bro' owns his own structural engineering company and a couple of his employees are Brighton fans...when they went out to lunch he changed their screensavers to a shot of the Brighton fan alone in the stand with his head in his hands...I'll try an get a photo of it to post...

I work in Brighton and thought I worked with a bunch of them. At least three season ticket holders. However I found out two of these are plastics - one a Spurs and one a Southampton. Had a bit more respect for the remaining one who talks a good game and seems a die hard. I found out that he is actually a Gooner though yesterday.

I wore my shirt in on Tuesday to rub their noses in it but none of them were in! One guy who supports Chelsea took exception and had a go at me for wearing it to which I replied "you're Chelsea though?" but "Brighton's my second team" was the reply.

You can't write it.

I would have had to smack that Chelsea bloke. He is a plastic just by association to Chelsea.

I work with one. ST holder, genuine fan. He did not give it out after the 0-3 so I didn't give it back.

Less arrogant than most prior to the game (scored it 70:30 in their favour before, which I thought was a fair analysis), and got into a row with one of his own fans during the game when the other bloke was berating Wilf for diving, the lino for giving the foul, and the ref for booking the bloke when that fella whose name eludes me tried to cut him in half - simply for stating it definitely was a booking (at least).

Besides, I'm feeling so smug I don't need to give it out, and he knows it

This won't be a popular thing to say, but after we lost 3-0 the three season ticket holders for BHA in my office (I work down in Brighton) said nothing. No stick at all. One even said to me "You didn't dish it out after Selhurst so I won't give you any stick". However, I got a lot of crap from two Liverpool fans, a Man United fan, a Chelsea fan and two Spurs fans.

After the win on Monday night I wore my Palace shirt to work. That was all I did. I took it off by 9:30 and I left them alone. 2 of the 3 season ticket holders approached me and said "well done, the better team won" and whilst you could tell it hurt them to say, they were sporting about it. The third one smiled at me as he walked past and waited for flack.

They have a lot of utter c**ts at that club but the real fans I have encountered, the ones that go way back and have really seen their club win and lose....I just couldn't fault the way they have behaved after the various results this season, as much as I'd love to find fault with them!

that's fair enough, the real older hard core fans sometimes deserve a bit of respect

theres a weed fan who used to get the 0712 or thereabouts to London bridge from Crowborough stn. I always used to wind him up but don't travel that route anymore. Didn't stop me getting up early that day to try and seek him out though. Unsurprisingly he was a no show!
