Unlucky, SH3. Forestieri very nearly dragged you into the game, but it was over as a competition when Vydra left the pitch. Yes, we lost Murray, but we had time to recover mentally and tactically after the first leg at home. It would have been like losing Zaha halfway through the match. Must still sting. Wish your lot the best of luck next season; seems as though you'll truly need it with the embargo etc.
WORRIED that your teeth will be stained after a heavy night drinking red wine? Fear not; drink a bottle of white wine before going to bed, to remove the stains. |

Got to also say that ONLY Deeney and Hogg applauded us going up which said so much...all the imports who bottled the occasion were too busy consoling themselves. I hope that you guys hit the ground running next season SH3 and get yourselves back up the top ASAP.

Just read this thread. Superhorns, you're always welcome on here imo, you join in the banter and don't get carried away, unlike some away fans. You didn't come up to us at the V & A pub at Marylebone did ya? A very nice quite pissed up Watford fan come over and shook our hands and wished us well for the future, when we wished him good luck for next season he said "we're fvcked", poor sod, hopefully it was the beer talking and he'll be a bit more positive soon.

No that wasn't me. We did say congratulations and good luck to some Palace fans on the way back down Wembley Way (surprised we saw some that quickly!) I bet everyone rubbished your chances last time but you almost stayed up with good home form and Holloway almost kept Blackpool up so he will have that experience. Unlike other clubs I am sure your owners won't be so quick to dump him after a few bad results.. The quality of the bottom 7/8 isn't great TBH..only Newcastle from last season probably won't be down there next season and you can beat all of them I am sure. Good luck anyway - guess its tricky to work out how to spend the money player wise because Reading were accused of not trying to get quality players in whilst QPR of course went too mad! I will always remember how elated I was after the playoff final a couple of years ago, so realise how awful it must have been to have been on the losing side that day. The Watford fans seem like regular supporters just like us, so I'm pleased they finally have something to smile about. And they don't even have to go through the trauma of the playoffs again! Well done, the Hornets.
