My question on this topic is about the Dirty30. Was there such a mob? I saw what I thought was them in action at Grimsby back in something like 2004/5/6 - looked organised but there was not 30 of them! Last year they gave Brighton a good slap even though they were outnumbered quite badly, Brighton had the numbers though and had them over in the end. They attacked Peterborough's mob last year as well and gave them a big slap, same night as Brighton funnily enough. Edited by EastEndPalace (15 Apr 2014 10.38pm)

Its funny reading all the old memories of palace football violence in the 80s, I was at some of them and I am in the Midland bank picture. It was qpr in the cup. The best memories I got are luton away, qpr cup, although I remember the league match in the midweek game v qpr, that was naughty afterwards around shepherds bush, we got chased in the dark. I remember when we went down to brighton on the friday night, that was a bit mad and of course the boxing day 83 with brighton at home, when they come up the hill, that went on for a while, palace backed off that day.I always remember that when I drive passed it. Does anyone remember when we played brighton away 81 or 82, when in that little corner, I cant remember his name the palace fan got on top of the stand and started showing brighton his muscels

I was in the Old Stand yesterday, thought i saw an older/thinner version of Clive. Last time i saw him was way back in the day. Everyone else had been booted out and were playing football in the field behind the massive terrace at Fulham. We had to stand back to back to fight them off until the OB came in and took us away. Good old days!!
I refuse to believe there are that many people out there that can't spell. Too f**king lazy, that's what I think. |
