I do believe they are gonna be fvcked.

25 points from 31 games is the best I reckon they can hope for after the eight.

Will be interesting to see how this changes after just tonight's games. If Stoke were to beat Sunderland (my money would actually be on Sunderland for this one though) and Chelsea were to beat West Ham, I wonder whether these odds might shift a bit. Not that the bookies odds are a crystal ball anyway....

It's the fixtures that play a bigger part than people give credit for.

So hard to pick now as it's so tight. I am genuinely starting to believe we might just stay up though. At the beginning of the season I said... Cardiff Stoke Sunderland I'll stick with that for a little while longer I think.

This is completely subjective... but here is how the table would turn out if West Brom, Stoke, Cardiff, Sunderland, West Ham, Fulham and us all picked up 3 points for every home game and 1 point for every away game against teams in the bottom half. Obviously only useful to compare who has the "easiest" run in, we have the hardest run in and our away form will be seriously important. We pick have the most difficult run in and Cardiff the easiest. Cardiff - 38 West Brom - 37 Sunderland - 37 Stoke - 36 Palace - 34 Fulham - 32 West Ham - 31

I would say Stoke, West Ham and Cardiff, although maybe West Ham's two loan signings will be world-beaters (I'm guessing not, if they were allowed out on loan). Cardiff's signings do not look inspired (3 Norwegians with no PL/English experience, Kenwyne Jones certainly no better than any other striker from a bottom-half team). However, there are 45 points left after tonight, so it's not just about squad quality but about fixtures too. We, for example, could conceivably get 0 points from our four February fixtures (4 points maximum if we are being realistic), which could leave us in the bottom three - but then we could feasibly get three wins in a row against Swansea, Southampton and Sunderland - but if we lose four games in a row going into the Swansea game, will the team pick themselves up for it?
