I like the fact that people pounce on KG (an easy target IMO) when Cameron Jerome/puncheon/bolaise who are forward players btw have been hitting the upper holmesdale all season.

KG is a superb foil for Jedi in that dmf position...he isn't in the team to score, he is there to break up play.

If your looking to pinpoint somebody for missing chances and make threads like this, then our striker, Cameron Jerome is the one to look at.

I've said it before, but Saturday confirmed in my mind that KG is positionally the most intelligent player in our midfield. Watch the whole game and notice just how many times he happens to be in the right place at the right time, to make that 5 yard pass or nick the ball away from an attacker.

It's not luck, and his reading of the game allows Jedinak to be much more aggressive, and go looking for interceptions.

When the opposition is in possession, KG is almost always in the position to push them out wide, into the channels, and drop back to cover the center back. The mans positioning on Saturday was absolutely immense. He was always in the center of the park, in front of the center backs, to dropping out to the left or right to assist the full backs.

Also Leadley played further up the midfield and we were a lot better for it.

Totally glamour and glory free role, which he does fantastically.

I've said it before and will repeat myself...there is no better player to play alongside Jedi in our squad than KG.

They compliment each other perfectly.
