If Cardiff were ready to pay whatever we wanted for him why didn't they put a bid in regardless of promotion, Answer because they didn't want him. The link was just put out there because he is Welsh. In truth JW just doesn't register on many other clubs radar, He doesn't play often enough and when he did created very little. As much as I want to see him do well he does not score goals and often runs sideways with the ball. He has good ball control but is not creative enough on a consistant basis. If he is the talent and Golden Nugget that some think he is why does he not get in the team when fit? Personally think we overrate players that come through the academy on the back of the few that have gone on to be successful with other clubs.
