We. Are. Going. To. Get. OBLITERATED. We have no chance.

like we were we obliterated at the Bridge?

That was different, we had confidence back then. Parking the bus won't stop them.

In front of goal maybe? but no way is the team as a whole lacking confidence

Just when I thought that I was out...........they pull me back in

We may not be short on confidence, we just need to start scoring goals.

Forget Chelsea, the thought of Liverpool coming to Selhurst is frightening.

I'll be surprised if we have a shot. Best to forget Chelsea and focus on Cardiff that's when our bid to stay up must begin.

Isnt getting promoted all about days when we play the likes of Chelsea at home ? I certainly thought so.

Give it our best shot and see what happens, get behind the lads and enjoy the fact we now play in the same division as some of the best teams in Europe.

Certainly better than playing at home to Barnsley.

I wish we could multi quote on here as there are loads of posts on here that I could reply to. However, Finchleyeagles above is the best!

Lets enjoy it people and I bet we don't concede six!!

Hopefully Mourinho has the PSG match on his mind and rest Hazard and a couple of other key players. But this quick-quick new Egyptian striker may cause us problems - otherwise I think it's gonna be a cracking game (as long as we're not playing with our shoulders above our ears).

We are defensively one of the better teams in this league, possibly in the top six or so since TP took over.

We lose and struggle because we cannot score goals not because we get tonked by teams.

Chelsea can play who they want and how they want. Sure they will win but perhap 1-0 or 2-0 - no way will they get four, five or six.

Remember we only lost 2-1 at the Bridge.

Keep the faith.

Out of all the games against the top 5, this is THE game that I want us to up out game and get something out of.

These knuckle draggers that can only speak with one symbol (Chels)
P##s me off as much as Brighton fans.

We need not only the team, but the entire stadium to up its game for this one.
Most of the other teams around us have taken something from one of the top boys, this is our turn.

Just hope we can get something.

We can't score. They can.

We'll lose.

I admire some of your optimism/lunacy though...

Hurrah.... a bit of sanity... well said Albert.

Rather than fear/dread it i'm just going to enjoy it.

After all, playing teams like Chelsea at Selhurst Park is why we celebrated promotion to the Premier League in the first place right?

Exactly, it should be a good atmosphere and we have nothing to lose.

Villa played them at their own game and won. Harrying, hassling and snapping at their ankles the whole game.

Sit back and give them time on the ball and they will slaughter us. Play higher up, in packs and put it up 'em Mr Mainwaring.

That may just get one of them upset and sent off again.
