Didn't see it today.
Expand on your theory please.

The wheels on the bus go round and round.....

See my previous point. I think the loop needs some tweaking.

Thought the players deserved better from the game as Pulis has said.

However, the transition from Millen's teams against Arsenal, Everton and Hull to earlier days of Pulis against West Ham, Cardiff, Chelsea to what we are seeing now is alarming.

Clearly doesn't fancy Ince and the last few minutes of the game today were crying out for him as Newcastle pressed.

The football is terrible to watch and seriously hope he is not the manager next season.

Pulis lost us the game today by bringing on players with no pace or counter attacking threat at a critical time of the game when it was there to be won.

Bold statements!

But he is right!

Can one of you guys explain to me what it is about Ince we were crying out for ? Apart from a really well taken goal against WBA he has been something of the shrinking violet. Its beginning to look like hes actually not that good isn't it ?

He is a quick, direct player with a good finish who is being asked by his manager to play defensive, negative football along with 9 others.

His last start was at Swansea where Pulis messed things up in the first half by his own admission.

I must admit i was excited by his signing and do think he is a premiership quality player. maybe even international in time. However, he has struggled recently, not because he has stepped up to the premiership imo but because playing in a side that is doggedly trying to not get beat just isn't suiting him. he needs a license to roam a bit!

Whilst I'm at It Julian Speroni has arguably been our best player since Pulis' appointment and Jedinak has started to look a poor player as he has no f***er to pass the ball to when he does get hold of a horrible 50/50 ball around his own box.

BBC website...

"Newcastle had failed to score in eight of their 11 previous Premier League games and had scored just once in their last five fixtures at St James' Park "

playing for the nil-nil wasn't necessary or wise

Also 9th in the table for a reason,
A good side in front of 50,000 fans is never a game we were going to dominate

Because they've got an excellent away record - like Sunderland last week this was a game we could have won.

Watched MoTD and now watching the Football League show and so many people seem to be able to shoot on target. Why the f*** can't we? On the very rare occasions that we do the keepers make worldy's to stop us, but they are rare occasions.

Agree.
Toon brought on Ben Arta who changed their point of attack and he looked dangerous every time he got the ball. Our changes didn't have any impact. Bannan slotted in but caused no problem and Murray was left isolated with no chances to score. The team worked very hard but with no end result you can;t expect every team to not score against us. It's just the aw of averages. Have to take and create chances.

How can he be wrong? they had 73 per cent possession with 20 odd shots on goal ffs take your rose tinted specs off we got off lightly again. We can not draw our way to safety we actually need to try and win some games.

Jesus what game were you lot watching

Sorry, what game were you watching? They had 8 shots on target and we both hit the bar and missed 1-on-1's.

Sorry me bad they did actually have 21 shots at goal cause you don't shot anywhere else 8 on target compared to 8 shots 1 on target yer we deserved all three points didn't we clowns

You don't seem to have the emotional maturity for football, let alone Palace.

I would suggest curling might be a better option for you

So when facts are aimed against your statements you resort to slander nice one mate keep up the good work cant wait to read your reply to that

Sorry but when such knee jerk, dribbling imbecility that flies so far in the face of what actually went on is displayed it can only be that you have the emotional capabilities to handle upset of an 8 year old girl - its about the only conclusion anyone can draw

Oh and it would be libel NOT slander btw - just in case you want to take me to court

If you want to judge games on what the Opta Index says knock yourself out - try using the old grey matter to decipher what your eyes actually witnessed instead

And there was me thinking you could actually have a decent debate on here silly silly me. I did watch the game we were as the stats say out played out passed out everything. An improvement on the Sunderland game cause yes we actually held on to the ball for a bit but blimey if you really think we deserved something then maybe its you who are acting like an 8 year old girl ( sits back and awaits further insults )

Maybe we didn't deserve a point from yesterday, but it would have been handy with all the other results going our way.

Real shame with 93 minutes on the clock we should have shown a bit more professionalism and seen the game out, but hey at least we are not getting taken apart by 5 or 6 goals.

Chelsea next, lets see what we can do against them....
