To be fair, all the Chelsea fans i grew up with and who used to go home and away when they were getting 6000 at home , aint been for years, and have been completely priced out of going by the plastics.

This new breed they got would think you were mad if you told them they used to play in front of 6000 at home.

So much for modern football.

Being old skool myself and remembering the Chelsea of old I would say they have more Nigels now than we do, or is it Tarquins and Ruperts in West London?

Chelsea - home of the dodgy plumber, used car salesman and ex Arsenal supporters.

And fat cabbies

Oi!I'm a fat cabbie but Palace through and through. I wouldn't be seen dead near Stamford Fridge.

You didn't have a fare at SP yesterday mid-morning did you? I remember speaking to a fat cabbie who seemed like a Palace fan...

Used to quite like Chelsea fans, loyal, noisy, passionate even intimidating. Not any more, they have lost their soul. I view them like I do Fulham fans. Was four Chelsea fans in O'neils Beckenham with a jug of Pimms WTF.

LOL

They used to a nasty bunch of racist thugs. Oh look, they still are:

'Witnesses said several made Nazi salutes and shouted English Defence League chants and racist abuse before attacking Paris Saint-Germain fans.'

No mate, Central London is my patch. I've picked up many Palace fans over the years including the lovely Katy B two weeks ago. There are more of us out there than we think.

Chelsea fans I know (virtually all priced out of attending any more) were happy to admit they were lucky to lose 1-0. Even their manager was gracious in defeat.

I suspect that their message board is full of new plastic fans. A bit like Brighton's NorthStandShat.

There is a facebook page for Chelsea fans called 'when we were s***' or some such

Who cares what they think.

It obviously has not occurred to anyone that Chelsea looked so bad because we made them look ordinary.

No matter how good a player you are, if your opponents do not give you the time and space to play, "your just another player", and that's the bottom line, unlike against Man U we didn't play in awe of them.
