I don't want to count my chickens on survival at all, but Saturday took us a long way. And Sunderland are currently losing 2-0, but knowing palace we wont do it the easy way.

But the second incentive to score points, not just staying up, again sounds obvious is achieving as high a place as possible at the end of the season. Currently there are 3 points between us in 16th and villa in 12th, but come the end of the season, this will be a least a few million which will be really valuable for the club.

Up the eagles, but I know well muck it up somewhere in one of these games ....

Yeah I had similar thoughts, started thinking if we beat Villa, Cardiff, West Ham and Fulham we'd get pretty high up that table but obviously getting carried away and we'll probably scrape through and finish 17th but that's good enough for me!

Safety is the target obviously BUT if we get 3 points at Cardiff (I don't think we will) then we are very close to safe.

If we assume that even if we were 100% safe by the time we play City and Liverpool, we know we'll still do the cagey defensive stuff against them.

But if the amazing happened and we either got 6 points from Cardiff and Villa or 4 points from them and all the below teams losing 2 on the trot, then I see no reason why we can't go hell for leather against Everton away, West Ham away and Fulham away.

If we are truly safe in any of those games, I'd love to see Bannan, Murray, Gayle (if fit)all starting and at least one of Jedi/KG getting benched. Obviously if it's KG then it would be benched to try out better players but Jedi would be purely if he fancies a rest.

This is all dream land though. Surely we lose to Cardiff on Saturday and get dragged straight back in it. Right?

Here's hoping wilf doesn't turn on the fireworks. Will mariappa and ward be able to cope?

Cardiff have some good players, but they don't strike me as being well organised.

Norwich must be crapping themselves, home to West Brom, away to Fulham and then Liverpool, Man U, Chelsea & Arsenal. IMO they will lose at Fulham being crap away from home and draw with West Brom and lose all 4 of the others! 1 more point for Delia!!!

Come on the Palace!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sit back and take the 0-0, they don't have the quality to break us down

Does Jedi strike you as the type that would say "I`d like to take a rest from this one boss" ?
Nah.

Is this a five minute argument, or the full half hour? [Link]

Yes he does, but I really hope we do not fall into the same mistake as others did last year. They doubled or even trippled up on Wilf leaving space for Yanick & FFS
to attack and score. I hope we just leave one on him and concentrate on being as solid as we have been lately.

Remember... Agent Wilf wants to stay in the prem (with us) so he may well have a "quite game"
