Fresh from his scintillating display at Selhurst Park, our favourite ref denied Sunderland a clear penalty for hand-ball last night. Keep up the good work, Howard!

To be fair to him he was blind side to the offence and he didn't get help from his assistant. Not sure how anyone would have given handball from his position on the field.

Nolan's elbow moved that far forward Webb would have easily seen it as well as the lineo and the whole ground!. I cannot imagine why he didn't give it.

Our good fortune, and Sunderland's bad luck.

Webb is still a bad ref and a cvnt. He's too interested in how making big decisions will affect his image and reputation and is a bottle job too. Nothing to do with helping any side out. Just a cvnt.

3 decisions stand out this season. Us, Suarez being clattered into in the corner of the penalty box at The Emirates coffee lounge and the blatant handball last night at Sunderland.

He should be taken off the fixture list for a while but the FA would never do that to their supposedly best ref. This is the ref who lost control of the World Cup Final and was only in it because his country having one of the top leagues was knocked out early enough and expected to be.

It is ridiculous to term a FIFA ref a "Bad ref".Yes, ALL refs make mistakes like we all do in life.

A ref who lets the players boss him in a World Cup Final whould never be there in the first place. He sees big incidents happen and chooses to ignore them. That is why he is a bad ref. A good ref will see what everyone else sees and give the decision, regardless of stage, venue, opposition, live on tv, whatever it is.

Always strike me that he seems to be of the opinion that Howard Webb is the main attraction on the pitch.

Prefer the term "s*** Ref" and he deserves that tag.

Nolan might've well have picked the ball up. Webb was 10 feet away in clear sight and didn't give it..pathetic, but thank you all the same Howard. shocking decision, or non decision should I say.

I certainly do not accept that Webb makes decisions on the bases you have described. He is a FIFA ref and as such it is ridiculous to term him a "Bad ref".Yes he like other refs are only human and as such will make mistakes but to reach the standard he has reached (FIFA) means that he has achieved excellent marks over a period of time.
He has got to the top of his profession for a good reason.
