I started supporting Palace the moment the final whistle blew in the play-off final. Previously, I have supported Man. utd, Chelsea and Arsenal, but found their fans not to be very welcoming. They don't like it if you wear half and half colours, but it's so difficult to chose who to support when arsenal play Chelsea cos you don't know who is gonna win. At the start of last season I started to follow Brighton for a while cos it was easy and cheap to get a season ticket, but I dropped them when I realised they were sh#t and would never get promotion. I quite like supporting Palace, but I find Selsdon park a bit of a dump and the toilets and food leave a lot to be desired. I may renew my season ticket next season, but I'm looking into Leicester at the moment cos they have run away with the championship so must be really good.

You haven't posted for a while Norbert and its good to see you have enjoyed it so far..

Is this a trollian wind up ?

Lets see how many 'plastics' they have at Palace and how many we can get to reveal themselves ??

Something smells fishy here.

And im not talking about the contents of Baldricks apple crumble...

Norbert smells fishy to me. Must be from Brighton/Charlton/Millwall fish market (delete as applicable).

I certainly do not support Millwall or Charlton or Brighton (now). They are all rubbish and have no chance of getting into the premiere league. Has anyone got any spare tickets for Liverpool, some of my family want to see them play.

It's ok, I've been in touch with chairman Steve Paris and he is gonna sort me out some tickets. I've got to meet him at the white hart lane end before Saturdays game.

I think we could get on Dave. Maybe go for a beer in the White House pub, that's if the landlord Donny doesn't throw me out again ;-)

I think it's great that we have a growing fan base at Palace.

It would be great to hear why you've started following CPFC this season (there are other London clubs in the top flight to choose from) and if you're now hooked on the club and will continue to support regardless of which league we'll be in next season.

This is a change from some of the idiots that have been on here in recent months moaning about 'plastic' fans, 'fair weathers' and patronising them by suggesting they need to be 'moulded' into 'proper' fans!
I also think its great our fan base is growing. Long may it continue.

Bit niave of me to expect people to reply honestly I suppose (especially as new fans seem to be vilified as plastics)

It's a shame really because I know there's a lot of us who are proud that our club is finally attracting new fans.

Many fans have spent years supporting CPFC as an unfashionable club and now we have a bit of attention, we get attitudes from people who dont seem to remember that they were new fans once too.

It's so pathetic that there's some kind of pi55ing match going on about how long you've supported your club.

The reality is that there's been a significant increase in ticket sales since we got promoted and it would be good to understand why these people have chosen Palace and how they're enjoying the ride.

I hope some people will come forward and "confess" to being new fans Some of us are very pleased your here (although we know what you're in for if you stick around!).

'New' fans have probably always supported Palace, but haven't had a season ticket or gone regularly. I highly doubt that there's any adults who have suddenly decided to start supporting us just because we're now in the Prem.

I actually joined this site supporting Chelsea, but the intelligent, articulate and welcoming atmosphere in Palace talk won me over. #BPL! Go Team Eagles!

At last.
A kinded spirit!
I hate Palace and much prefer Cbelsea.

Are you kenny lunt in disguise?
