I'd never wear a baseball cap - horrible american things. But in the spirit of Allinson and the Fedora, I'd consider wearing one for a few minutes in honour of Tony Pulis achievement

If Edgar Davids was still with us, would we be wearing Dutch caps?

i really feel that a banner acknowledging his fine work should go up during one of the last few home games, im not saying we elevate him to legendary status etc etc - just something to finally welcome him to club with warmth and build a connection with the fans.

i feel when he arrived and still now, there hasn't been an outpouring of appreciation or support for the guy.

without him, this season would have been long gone and our reputation would have been awful.

we all dream of a team of Alan Lees

I'll be wearing a cap but then I have been wearing it long before TP got there and probably long after. Is it such a bad idea?

The ups and downs of Palace have left me older than my years

Nick, those caps are only for the fairer sex

To be wronged is nothing unless you continue to remember it.

Everyone wearing a cap because the manager does? Very very very muggy and that's why it will never happen. Almost as muggy IH wearing a docker's cap or any Bromley, Orpington or Chislehurst twonk wearing one as well. (gusset doesn't wear one does he?)

A really muggy and tv craving thing to do. Akin to free Chelsea flags for the Hampshire side of pitch seats and plastic clappers for Brighton and Norwich fans. Include the Liverpool banners for every f***ing game in the last 30-40 years and the recent ones celebrating the league before City hopefully win it being another team who can win it after winning all their remaining games.

maybe you have only joined us palace fans recently ? it strikes me that you do not really appreciate how massive Tony's achievement has been ?

never mind, go back to sitting in the top corner and scowling at everybody. I will be wearing my baseball cap to occlude your view from my eyes. Sorry to have bothered you.

Strange comment there PD... I can assure you Rudi has been here a while, knows his stuff, and can probably very well appreciate Pulis' achievements without wearing a baseball cap.

Yep, I remember an empty Selhurst in the rain, the hope in the Spring, hop on and off 68 bus, Rossi's Refreshments and his burgers served in tracing paper, the skinhead at the back of The Arfur with the loudest voice in several boroughs and his willingness to face anybody. This is still, a muggy, embarrassing, cringeworthy idea.

Clappers, flags, banners, silly messages on banners, lego, copying one person's 3 hour choice of attire for whatever reason is just plain embarrassing. But if you want to do it as individual and be a subject to laugh at and not with, your choice.

Am in full agreement with Rudi, Far to many childlike posters that want to go over the top and do cringe worthy things, wear a baseball cap because TP does, Christ that's embarrassing, Did the OP shave his head and talk like a farmer in tribute to Holloway? Tony Pulis Red and Blue Army is sufficien and deserved.

Agree with this and holloway got us here so I think he needs some acknowledgment too. Keith millen kept the ball rolling so maybe a show for all 3.

I think hes a way off being a Palace legend, but if you're going to become a legend then doing what hes done is the start ! Agree with singing his name, maybe a season or 2 before he gets a picture done by the HF... and by then all the idiots will probably be moaning about the style of football...

You'll be forever in my family's memories and it was an honor and privilege to play and lead in the red and blue
Yours sincerely

I disagree. He will be up there with the legends if he is the 1st to keep us up.
I won't be wearing a cap but will be in full voice for Tony Pulis red n blue army.

I'm sure his million pound bonus for keeping us up will be the only recognition he needs.
