While one could never compare Bolasie with Sir Stanley Matthews I do believe they have something in common when it comes to scoring. Matthews would dazzle everybody as he took off down the wing but nine times out of ten he would cross a delightful ball but he seldom scored. Somebody once unkindly said that any shot he took would go any where but nearer to the corner flag than the goal. I get the impression that Bolasie does not concentrate sufficiently and tends to shoot or head rather impulsively. Perhaps, given time,Pulis can give him some advice on how to focus on his actions which may help him stop snatching at the ball.

Bolasie's shooting the past five or six weeks has improved 100%. His decision making has improved 100%, his crossing has improved 100%. He is now a Premier League quality player - and I never ever thought I would be saying that.

Keep him going, a pre-season under TP and next year I hope to see YB getting among the goals.

Perfectly stated, the goal is coming.....what a thunderous reaction there will be so I hope it is at home.

he always starts these fantastic runs and ends up heading for the corner flag and oblivion, why not do a Ronaldo/Bale drift towards the centre of the field ? he has the pace to do it

Like the run he did that set up our goal yesterday?

It was my dream to play for Palace and to make my debut. I've always played for the club so if I'm playing here, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

Yes This ^^^^^, can you imagine the panic in defenses if he did that, his pace into the heart of opponents defense would open up the defenses for the likes of Puncheon & Chamakh more space to maneuver in the box.

I think its one of those things, him and Jerome will end up scoring a half decent goal, and then become fairly regular scorers. Cameron Jerome is a man who can it seems hit the bar and post at will!

Also, for a smallish player, how f**king sturdy is he in the challenge, he's usually shrugging off players who'd normally flatten someone his size.

Some of his crosses are poor, but thats true of any winger. Brilliant ball across the box for Puncheon to score.

Strange really. If he was actually asked to aim to hit the bar/post he would probably find the back of the net by accident. Perhaps that's the solution!
