Whatever values they have, these players are no better or worse in terms of potential than they were a month or two ago. The difference is, we've just won 4 in a row, and as a result the potential of many has been proven, meaning a valuation has rocketed.

Thank f*** we signed Puncheon just after the Spurs game, as I bet Southampton feel they've missed a trick and have probably lost a few £100k.

If only Zaha had stayed. Also crossed my mind tonight that Bolasie oohs the more likely Premiership player in 3 years time than poor Wilf.

The more games we play the more I'm pleased that we cashed in on Wilf. Our wingers are so full of tracking back and defending as well as bombing forward and I honestly don't believe Zaha has the defensive part in him.As good as he is I think he would have let us down defensively and that's obviously a massive part of why we're so good at the moment.

I'm not sure, Pulis seems to get players to chip in, even those with the "lazy" reputation like MC. I get the impression it is very much a "you track back or you don't play" and everyone sees to buy into it. Zaha on the break would be great, although currently I am not sure if he'd get further than our bench.

...if we actually had him, he would get further than the bench I can assure you.

On current form who'd be dropped for him?

I think he would play. I'm confident he'd have developed over the season just as Bolasie has. And Puncheon.

This time last year, if you were offered Zaha and Ince as your wingers, or Puncheon and Bolasie, there'd only be one winner. Zaha would be better defensively under Pulis, but he's been lumbered with two s*** sides this year without enough belief of managerial capability behind him.

Not having this. If Bolasie came from our academy we would be saying exactly the same about Yannick. Fact is Bolasie seems to be the mature player, the more premier league player, the more complete player and has a better attitude. I don't buy all this "He needs Love cobblars" If he really needed love who wouldn't have left. Wilf needs to pull his finger out or he is going to piss away his remarkable talent. I also firmly believe he would be warming our bench if he was here. Bolasie scares the s*** out of the best full backs in this league and even double up on him and still cant handle him. Puncheon has chipped in with vital goals and is also a life long palace fan. Wilf does needless tricks and full backs don't need to fear him. I would have this years Yannick over last years Wilf all day long.

Re. maturity, Bolasie is 25 next month.

Wilf is 21, and has played for Palace, Manchester United and Cardiff.

At 21, Bolasie had played for Plymouth, Barnet, Rushden, Floriana and Hillingdon Borough.

I love Yala, but you can't compare his career at 25 to Zaha's last year as it's ruling out a crucial 3+ years of development. Zaha would have progressed under Pulis.

Plus you're missing the point that this is a squad game and it's not an 'either/or' situation.

The Premier League is really taking notice of Bolasie. I have said here before that I never believed he would make the grade and thought of him as a 'socks in his pants' player.

I was just so wrong and in this month he has possibly been the best player in the Premier League, certainly the best winger. He has taken on and beaten full backs for fun and his shooting is so much better that I cannot believe he has not bagged at least three goals in this mini run we are on.

YB's crossing is also telling now, not just the odd one but game after game. He creates danger in the opposition box and we are scoring goals from those crosses.

Add to all of that the man is back in our own third tracking runners and putting in good tackles. Superb transformation from the previously somewhat headless chicken of a player.

Is he better than Zaha. Well in many regards yes I think he is. Right now Zaha has the bigger bag of tricks but Bolasie offers far, far more to the team and his bag of tricks is filling up very nicely.

Zaha needs to work hard, play in the stiffs and learn his trade at this high level. He will then get the chance to perform and show what he can do - right now though he is still just a kid with loads of potential. The best thing for him would be to be back at Palace and be under the guidance of TP.

Wilf would be the highest earner should he come back and CPFC2010 matched his Man U contract. His agent would obviously try for that.

Doesn't sit right with me for he will not have earned it and that may cause resentment especially as quite a few of the fans will treat him like some kind of Messianic footballing genius still.

Could be a big mistake all round.

Ah, fvck it. Let's have him back. We are Palace. We always shoot ourselves in the foot and what an exciting way to self-combust.

Ward is worth around £8m IMO. The rest are under £5m. Maybe Bolasie, Jedi and Puncheon close to £5m. Dann looks like a bargain.

Wenger has had his eye on Bolasie all season - let's see how big an offer we get there come the end of it.

Our team now looks like a comfortable a mid prem set up but I don't think any of our players would fetch anywhere near 5 mill, that says a lot for Pullis and the team spirit. It's great that I don't think we will lose anybody to the big guns before the start of next season, so hopefully we can keep stable for a few seasons to come, happy days.

seriously?
Jonniesta would command that, throw in the likes of Puncheon, Chqmakh, Bollaise, Ward and Jedi and i think you're way of the mark

Zaha is part of Palace's history and we have moved on now. Plus he only puts in a decent shift when he feels like it (and the cameras are on him)

If we'd had him, he'd probably have been keeping either Puncheon or Bolaise out of the squad. Provided of course he'd kept up the level of performance he provided last season. Ok, he's not broken into the united squad and only making the Cardiff bench, but the Wilf we knew, would have walked into our first team,

Another thing to be taken into consideration is how much Wilf would have improved under the coaching staff at Palace, they have obviously been working very hard with Yala, the results are there to be seen. Another thing to consider is that EEP seems to hate most of our players and I noticed he's watching the Spam gam from their end, troll?

Bolasie has been brilliant recently, but completely disagree with last couple sentences...fullbacks were pooing their pants at the sight of him last season, he was turning them inside out and making them look amateurish, whilst he scored a lot more goals than Bolasie simply down to better finishing, which would still be the case. It's difficult to compare the two now with Wilf warming benches and not being under Pulis' wing, but the only thing I think Bolasie has over Wilf is strength. Also, Bolasie rarely tracked back last season and look at him now...surely Wilf would do the same? tough debate but Wilf of last season was sensational and in another league to Bolasie's recent form
