I know this sounds a little crazy given how he (and the team) has performed in the last few weeks, but bear with me. In reality, hitting the 40 point mark has basically rendered us safe. With that said, we know exactly what we do / don't have in Jerome and, frankly, he is a loan player.

I'd like to see us give Murray and Gayle (the latter in particular) a bit of a run for the next 4 GameStop to get an extended look at them when they have a starting opportunity. Gives Pulis a chance to see what he's got and therefore what he does / doesn't need to do in the window.

So, drop one player and play two in his place? Who else would you drop to accommodate the Murray/Gayle partnership?

Incidentally, I think with Jerome you get one thing Murray does not possess. Pace. Crucial at the top level.

So we have our best run of form in the prem for 20 years, win 4 on the bounce, 3rd in the form table, 11th in the league, and you think we should drop one of the players that contributed ?

How about lets get as many points as possible, the extra cash, lay down a marker for next season and take some good form into it, with a settled side being the foundation ?

I don't think unnecessarily changing a winning team helps with that does it ?

You'll be forever in my family's memories and it was an honor and privilege to play and lead in the red and blue
Yours sincerely

surely pulis knows whether jerome fits into future plans and if he plays him and he knocks in a few goals will that not increase his value when we possibly make an offer to Stoke

No it is not. We must keep pushing on and win as much as we can. We all saw what happened with Gayle starting. Don't intend to go back to that time of season. And just so you know, he played centrally vs Fulham

You are basically saying "Gayle was naff at the beginning of the season so he's likely to be bad now too" which I think is incredibly harsh. I'd argue that a huge number of people played like crap early in the season during the bad ol' Holloway times.

Puncheon was lambasted on here as one of the worst signings of all time by some. Now look at him. One could make a valid case for any / all of KG, Puncheon, Speroni, Mariappa, Bolasie, Chamakh also all having bad early seasons under IH but have been transformed under Pulis. What is to say that Gayle also couldn't?

The fact he does not in anyway shape or form look capable of playing in this league

Personally I'd like to see what more we can get from Jerome now he's got his goal with a view to us buying him in the summer.

Unless we are going to change the way we play, Jerome is the best forward for that role which requires extreme fitness levels, pace, strength and lots of unselfish work.

No I would not drop him now as I think he is helping us out and having scored may have the necessary confidence to even do better for us in the remaining games. Next season is different and I leave that up to Pulis to decide whether he would want him .
