Thought Puncheon had played for Jamaica.

Would be interesting when we get the mandatory penalty shootout.

Palace players have a history of not being picked for England.

And I see signs of half remembered days, I hear bells that chime in strange familiar ways

Not true,
I'm sure Peter Taylor got a cap in the third div.

Is the state of English football that bad that anyone would even consider Puncheon as an International.
Sorry but he is nowhere near good enough.

If Andros Townsend is good enough, then why not?

I'd also rather see Punchy in front of players like Cleverly and Milner.

Realistically Punchy has no chance though.

Townsend is 21, Puncheon 27. Potential to improve has to be considered.

He's a long, long way behind James Milner as a player.
