I HATE Big Sam. Which is odd, because I'm normally too level headed to let emotions get the better of me, but he really gets under my skin.

Was expecting a comment or two, but thought his after match comments yesterday were pretty reserved. Obviously after a nights sleep and another pack of Wrigley's Extra, he couldn't help have a dig.

6 points clear of them, so **** him!

The West Ham fans were giving loads yesterday, and rightly so.
Shocking tactics as I said earlier he puts two lumps on up front then takes both Downing and Jarvis off,so where are the crosses coming from.
He is the sort of manager that will always blame other factors apart from his bad tactics, and he is the 13th highest paid manager in the WORLD.....God help us.

always a Norwood boy, where ever I live.

The older he gets the more repulsively toad-like he becomes.

I suspect once his West Ham adventure comes to an end he'll struggle to find employment at a club above the relegation zone. Queue fresh employment next November when the annual 'sack race' begins by panicking Premiership employers.

Watching MOTD again this morning, he said something about being hated at Blackburn, Bolton etc etc. Sums him up really. So ungracious and full of excuses. Cannot believe he survived December at West Ham given their truly shocking run of results. Yes, they had injuries, but these were injuries to a squad he built, a squad proven to be woefully inadequate solely because the full transfer outlay was invested in one player.

It's proved the right decision to stick with him though, they'll probably finish 11-13th, which has to be considered pretty successful. West Ham's squad is truly awful, to have them at mid table is impressive IMO.

Don't think he'll ever struggle for premiership employment, consistently successful throughout his career.

You're probably right. I may let my dislike blur judgement. However, his squad would be better had he not spent all his cash on an injured Andy Carol. How much did our team cost? Puncheon, Ledley, Bannan, Ince, etc even Gayle, probably cost less than AC fee and wages alone. Yet have proven more effective. Maybe he should have signed Cameron Jerome instead! They've scored the same amount of goals this season.

I'm not anti AC, I just think he was a poor signing on the basis that it took up such a percentage of their overall budget.

He's been unlucky in that sense IMO. If you break the bank to make a signing and they get injured for 6 months, it's quite unfortunate. Their form since Carroll has been back in the team has been very good, which suggests they'd have considerably more points at this stage if he had been fit all year.

He generally does good business in the windows, and is improving their squad year on year. It's easy to forget this is only their second season back at this level , and the likes of Diame, Downing, Jarvis etc have all been good additions. I think he's a criminally underrated manager.

I think he's King Grumpy of Smugtown! and he's getting grumpier!
Always moaning! Always miserable and I thank the lord he's not ours!
Mind you, I'd like him to stay at West Ham!

What I find funny is that Carroll Is a massive lump and he spent half his time on his arse appealing for free kicks and penalties. Also why do the media constantly lick Andy Carrols arse. The guy is absolutely s***e.

What on earth possessed Sam to fork out 15 million for him?! 15 million and his f***ing wages are huge! That just says it all, really.

Shoulder Charge??!!!!

I think we call this a barge off the ball. Penalty all day long. We were lucky he got away with it.

Yes, BF Sam is an arse.

Yes, since they spent so much money on a big centre forward they feel they have to lump it up to him to get their money's worth.

Excellent for us: predictable and our centre backs can take those all day long.

While he's on the team sheet it's like saying to opponents "look everyone; this is how we are going to play" .......hoof.

Bet old Bobby Moore must be turning in his grave.

I think we call this a barge off the ball.

Happens all the time when corners or free kicks are taken with players pushing, pulling, blocking etc but you never see penalties given for these.

Had an excellent view of the challenge being seated two rows from the front just to the side of the goal and AC dropped to his knees like a sack of spuds. Given his size and the fact he's not afraid to throw himself into things this was uncharacteristically fragile behaviour.
Blatant opportunism, the ref got it right.
