Yes its usually been because money talks and this lad at Newcastle seems to have an abundance to spread around. I can already believe that members of The Judas Clan are licking their lips as the anti is raised. Bruce and brother Friedman were obviously paid up members of The Judas Clan and exploited their membership but I honestly do not know if Dowie was enticed by Charlton or was so confused that he did not know the difference between north and south east and was also unable to decipher an offer when it was dangled before him. I certainly do not believe Pulis is anything but ethical and I'm sure he would never under any circumstances be enticed to join The Judas Clan.

Newcastle is a club in chaos with a power-crazed owner and demented fans. TP has started a project at Palace which has local ownership, a wonderful fan base and great potential. It would be surprising and disappointing if he didn't want to see it through.

Palace is Pulis' legacy project to get rid of the stigma of his Stoke style and show he can be successful with a team playing attractive football.

I would expect him to stay for 4 - 6 years and then go and manage his beloved Wales -- he's got a good chunk of the Welsh team already playing for him at Palace.
