NO no no and just no again......Hate the thought of them getting in the top flight, you would never hear the last of it.

Besides another tearful night from the queens would be good.

How could any Palace fan want that scum to have amy type.of.glory by winning the play offs?
I want to see Derby cane them big time and stop them having the Wembley dream potential.

I fear that the writing is on the wal though l to.many similarities to us last season , ie sneaking into the play offs last game and then home leg 1st !!! Have been praying to the football Gods not tp.let them win

First leg of the semi-finals tonight. I can't be the only one who is quietly hoping for a home win.

Not me; I don't want them to have a single moment of joy. Plus, as has already been said, they have quite a bit of cash for a Championship club and I don't want them to get another £60m+ to splash about. I prefer they went into freefall and droped out of the league altogether with ultimate financial ruin.

I'd settle for them hovering over the anus of League 2 in perpetuity.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

I'm really not sure how I feel about this. I love the derbies and if they don't go up then I'll really miss the occasion and away day. But part of what makes the games so tasty is that sometimes you go a couple of years without playing each other and then WHAM all the passion comes back when you're in the same league again.

Hopefully we can get them in one of the cups......that will do.
Plus if its away, they have to give us more tickets.

Yes, but not now.

Our infrastructure is too creaky. When we have a better ground, training facilities and an established premiership system etc. that is when I would like them to come up. Imagine them finally clawing their way in, blinking into the glare of top flight football. Their first visitor is the mighty Palace who given them such a whipping on their home turf that they never properly recover. Months later it's the home leg at SP. Poor little Br*****n are so demoralised by a string of heavy defeats, half their squad injured or suspended, on their third manager [who is as useless as the last], only 3 points on the board and with in-fighting in both dressing room and board. They succumb to a rout by the Palace reserves that effectively relegates them before the end of February.

What Palace fan would not want that?

Difficult one.

Derby is a fantastic weekend away, so I'm hoping they stuff Brighton royally and go on to take the final as well.

I've got no interest at all in Wigan or the other one, so if Derby blow it, yes I'd take Brighton coming up for the sake of the derbies and six glorious points.

All good. Nothing bad.

That would be better, like Sisyphus and the boulder

No.

It's that simple!

Be very careful what you wish for. All this 'Id love the 6 points' would be a painful bite in the backside. Don't take the chance, I want Derby to thump them 4 or 5 tonight and ensure there is no danger. They can then slide down the championship into league 1 and then I just hope we get them in the cup as its always a pretty special game.

But I will always hate them more than any other club. Scum.

I think their fans will slowly ebb away the longer they go outside of the Premiership, especially as the majority of them also support a Premier League club. I want them to stay off the top flight for a few more years when those people who are giddily supporting a team because of the big plastic v***** they've had built on the outskirts of the town, climb back onto their sofas to watch Liverpool on Sky TV each Saturday.
