I can afford to go so i will pay but last time we went up i was priced out. Is asking for a price freeze to much. If we ever have to pay £50+ a game because we get 200k a week players is that ok?. The German way is best safe standing and fair pricing the tv money should keep our prices as low as theirs. Support Man Utd calzardi are you mad thats way below the belt even typing that name has made me feel sick.

steve browetts reply to a similar question on the BBS was;

"It's actually slightly more that (£60M). I wont go into details but it basically makes CPFC financially secure for many years and part pays for future ground development."

A price freeze is fair enough but in 4 or 5 years ! We need to make as much money as we can as quickly as we can so we can catch up with the more established clubs in the Premier League. The problem we currently have is that our match day revenue isn't big enough so until we can get Selhurst up to 30/35,000 we need 3 new kits every season and if we have to pay £45 a ticket then so be it ! CPFC 2010 have my full support and trust in what they are trying to do long term !

The cost of going to see a match is a problem, especially if the club want to maximise profits to try to secure a future. It is sad, and a little short sighted to suggest if you cannot afford it, go somewhere else. The popularity of football stems from the ability of many thousands being able to attend matches. My father, just a post man, among other jobs, was able to take me and my bro and now we go with our kids and grandchildren when we can.
Perhaps Palace can be the first to televise games live to local venues, clubs, cinemas etc. I pay Sky a fortune for the occasional game, so would happily support something else. But, please, if Liverpool or some other 'plastic' club already do this, please don't suggest I fcuk off up to Liverpool every weekend.

I think each place in the league is worth an additional 900k in prize money.

Basic TV rights are distributed equally, but then there are additional payments if your game is broadcast - there are both UK and international contracts.

For us, I think staying up and finishing around 11th is worth something like 50m GBP to us. Hard to believe, considering where we were 3 years ago!

Spot on and this is why it disappointed me seeing empty seats on 85 mins - we are secure for another season, money coming in with a great set of level headed chairmen - that feeling we had in may, when phillips scored should be replicated for 90 minutes until the season finishes.

One whole celebration - i am so made up, we just won 5 in a row, so we lost to the possible champions with 3 games to go - no big deal - anyways - it's still like a dream to me

the Sky money including MOTD and overseas rights is £62m for the bottom club and rises by £900k per place.

If we finish 11th we get approx £70m.

I think the extra £8m is needed as i suspect every transfer this season had a survival payment built in and all the players and manager are on well deserved bonuses for staying up too.

However, even with these deductions it's a massive amount and hopefully we wil spend it wisely.

No carboni's on 5 year contracts on £40k per week please

I read somewhere (possibly on here) that finishing 11th is worth just over £73m

I don't mean to sound bitter, cold or cruel, but I am so that's how it comes out

I think, if true that TP will be having £1m of that be paid into his bank account, if the "bonus" thing is true.

I know there has been talk already on this, but does anyone know the actual figure that we'll have at our disposal for next season ? Apparently it's a flat £60mio plus approx £900k per place, so we're talking £68mio from the sky deal. But what about gate receipts/sponsorship/corporate earnings etc ? Surely gate receipt must be nearly another £10mio ?
