I read an article by a former manager of Bent about a year ago. Said he was a great goalscorer but never played for the team. If he scored a goal in a game he considered he had done his job and was happy - even if his team had lost 1-5! So, yes a good goalscorer but never a team player. Now his pace has dropped off and he has hardly strung a run of games together for two years I would not want him at Palace. Would not be at all surprised to see him at Leicester next season.

He's getting loads of flak on the "friends of Fulham" website. Disinterested, lacking in effort, lazy, just some of the comments, which we already knew. Jesus to think we wanted him, had a very lucky escape there i think. Aston Villa knew exactly what they were doing letting him go out on loan.
