For them, coming to Selhurst, the question wasn't whether they were going to win, but by how much. They seriously thought they could overcome a GD of 9 after meeting us and Newcastle.

And when it comes to which team has the moral highground... It's not like Liverpool hasn't spent any money. And at least City, while it's easy to deride them as an oligarch's plaything with infinite funds, at least they have the cheapest season tickets in the league. (they didn't start exploiting their supporters when success arrived) And they are actually investing locally.

Whereas Liverpool is buying up property in their area to run down the prices.

For me, football clubs should be a community thing. They have more power and money than any politician can every wish for. Liverpool FC are failing spectacularly in that department.

I was blown away with our performance yesterday and I was sso proud.

But what I really fail to understand is how any fan for any team in the world would rather see City or Chelsea win the league by buying it over a real English team who have played so well this season and worked there arse off for it. People like Steven Gerrard deserve a prem title no matter who u support he has been one of the best English footballers this country has ever produced and has been loyal as f*** to Liverpool.

I can't understand why fans other than City fans Chelsea fans Everton fans and United fans actually are happy they lost it.

They don't deserve to win it defending like that but it just baffles me

My reasons I am happy for them to mess this season up:

1) Their fans have caused trouble everywhere they go. We didn't play in Europe as a result.

2) Gerrard is a thug.

3) I am sick of their moaning and violin playing.

4) Alan Hanson's face irritates me.

5) They couldn't hold onto a 3-0 win fair and square

6) To shut Alan Hanson up, and other scouse commentators who generally seem refuse to give credit elsewhere when it is due.

7) To get more enjoyment watching MTOD on the last day of the season.

Obviously quite a few of those are related - we'll never ever get the credit we deserve from the likes of Hanson so we may as well enjoy assisting stripping Liverpool of what we can.

All of those reasons and more.

Just look at who they booked for MOTD. 2 former Liverpool players. Clearly for the producers, it wasn't about a fair and balanced analysis of a football game. It was about a mutual masturbation session showing the glory of LFC for their halfwit supporters at home.

I'm glad we shattered their dreams within 10 minutes and the whole world was laughing at them.

Rodgers only has himself to blame. He could have taken the 0-0 Mourinho was playing for and easily kept the lead against us. He'd then be on route for winning the league.

Instead, BR wanted to stroke his ego by humiliating Mourinho, which didn't work. Then he thought he'd come to Palace and put 9 past us.

He want the glory.

ALL THE GLORY.

ALL THE GLORIOUS GLORY.

And then we had Palace fans coming here suggesting we sing f***ing YNWA...

What was known as ‘the big 4’ coined it while the money in football got silly over the last 20 years and were quite happy to pull the ladder up. They only way a club like Man City could possibly crash the party is with a sugar daddy.

What difference does it make whether the mega money comes from sponsorship, TV money or a benefactor? I say good luck to City.

When clubs like Liverpool and Arsenal act like they’re plucky underdogs, run on a shoestring budget, it just makes me laugh.

There is some truth in that, but they're not really all that different from City or Chelsea. Foriegn owners and a club that spends big etc. F**k Gerrard, if he'd be playing for any other real team, he'd be playing for Chelsea anyhow (plus Lampard, Terry, Cole are all long term England players).

But the really important thing, is that it was a little club from South London that handed megabucks city the title.

They are not 100% English anymore, they are American owned (twice over).
I did feel sorry for their loyal fans though whose train was delayed after the game and they didn't get home to Oxted till after 7pm.

Just had this conversation with a Liverpool/Brighton fan at work:

Me: "Did you watch Crystanbul on Monday?"
Him: "I don't know why you are so upbeat, when was the last time you won anything?"
Me: "Monday, when we won City the league"

Silence....
