This is different. Pulis would feel he owes it to the league to play his strongest team against a team in the title race.

However, the result of the Fulham game will change nothing for any team. Fulham are down and we will finish 11th, assuming Villa don't beat city away tonight. Fielding a weakened team on Sunday would not damage the integrity of the league.

There is, at the very least, a duty to the supporters who have paid good money for tickets, to turn in the strongest perfomance possible and not a 'training game'. I dissagree. There is, at the very least, a duty to the supporters who have paid good money for tickets, to turn in the strongest perfomance possible and not a 'training game'. Thankfully TP won't share your seriously misguided views.

And Pulis could not ignore the season Speroni has had. Lets hope a contract is offered, Speroni signs, and then down to Pulis who he wants to be his number 1?
