Calling danny h: Did you get any good pix of the lap of honour?

If so, can you post them for all to see?

Anybody got any video they can post? The audio coverage of it on Palace Radio was tremendous.

Don't panic. Steve P said in his interview last week that contracts would all be sorted out after the final game. And that Jules would be getting his renewed.

I trust that TP and the board will do what is right for the club. Jules is a legend and he will be hard to replace when the time comes which is not yet imo. Jules has done nothing wrong to warrant not being offered a new contract. He has kept us in games with world class saves and made very very few mistakes. If he is performing under par then bench him like any other player but I have seen nothing under par with his performances.

I went down the front pitch level from my vantage point at the back of Block D, mainly to clap the players off, and hopefully get a few good pictures while on there lap of honour.

And I did both of those things, but what worried me is our man Jules looking very upset, close to tears and muttering something in Argentinian sort of under his breath while applauding the fans back.

It was very very clear that he was upset about something, it did seem to me that it was a goodbye Jedi Noticed and raced over to put an arm round him.

Did any one else notice this ? or am I reading to much into it, I don't think I am, I wasn't pissed (rare for me I know) and it was quite apparent something was upsetting our Jules (the best Keeper we have had since Nigel Martyn IMO).

I will not be happy if that's whats happening. One of the top 3-4 keepers in the prem.

Definitely saw the same. Jules was highly emotional at the end and I had the same uneasy feeling as though he was saying goodbye.

It'll all become clear in the next couple of months but, as much as I'd love Jules to stay, maybe now is the time to bow out, at the top and as Number 1, before he's replaced by the younger model.

Every time Pulis is questioned on Speroni's form in interviews, he seems to dismiss Jules and talks about it being a team game, don't think I have ever heard him praise him? Speroni is in the form of his life, and no way can he be replaced on form alone. I am hoping Speroni is given a new deal, and then it's up to Pulis to decide who he feels deserves the number 1? It's great to know we have two top keepers at the club, Hennessey needs to wait for his chance.

Just hope parish's loyalty towards Speroni doesn't cause a rift with TP as Hennessey is Pulis's man.

TP is no fool and whilst we fuel our wish for Jules to stay from sentiment as well as form there is no way that a player who is as good and has performed and picked up the plaudits he has would be dumped by TP

Now all we need is Argentina to pick him for the WC

Can only add my voice to say I hope he stays. If he does, he will have to battle it out with Hennessey on a game to game basis, as he is getting older, even if he is 34.
He needs to be shown how valued he is at the Fulham game. Great guy

It's a difficult one. Pulis maybe had a negative opinion of Jules before he arrived - this has probably since been changed, but in the meantime Hennessey has been signed. I think in case we dropped down to The Championship and we couldn't afford to have both.

However that is not the scenario, and Hennessey is not Premiership quality in my opinion (from seeing him at Wolves)and I'd be very surprised if he is the one to replace Jules as no.1 next season.

On the other hand Jules will be 35 by the time next season kicks off. I think we'll be signing a top young keeper in the summer (a Jack Butland perhaps?)as our new number one, Jules will be on the bench and Hennessey will be loaned out/sold to a Championship club.

I do not believe we signed Hennessey to replace Jules in The Premiership.

If TP goes with Hennessey or any other keeper we will still love Jules...TP is our governor and we have to trust his choice. SP take note. I'll always love Jules, and for me, as our best ever keeper and because he's such a nice bloke.

Pulis did not plan for relegation. Not a chance.

Disagree. Why pay £1M plus on a younger keeper to play in the Champ? Hennessey is a proven good keeper and definitely the replacement for Jules.
