Think it was Yannick on the wing in the second half over by the main stand (I was in the Arthur Waite) and somebody (Skrtel??) goes flying over the top of him, and is completely flat on his back.

As we placed the ball down for the free kick that led to our first goal, I turned and said to my dad, who was sitting next to me, "Three quick goals coming up" - the rest is history and will never let him (or anyone else) forget the fact I was an oracle that day.

(Ignore the fact I called the score as 6-0 earlier in the day, 6-1 at half time, and 6-2 and 6-3 after subsequent Liverpool goals).

As with all such momentus occassions; Liverpool 4-3 FA semi, Man Utd 3-3 final, the Man utd 2-2 Semi, and of course the playoff wins - they are always marked by hugging, jumping up and down uncontrollably, falling over etc with random other supporters!

The Steven Gerrard song

At 2-3 looking around the ground and I swear it looked like every seat was abandoned and the whole ground was bouncing

Seeing your typical hub cap stealing scally pinned up to the wall by three stewards by the exit to / entrance 4 of the Arfur...giving is to 3 blokes who would have ripped his head off

Seeing Hells Bells, Paul Walsh and Jan Molby getting all matey before kick off

Me and the boy jumping around and hugging each other as each goal went in - a real father and son moment and for the first time, and now ten seasons of him going he I think its finally dawning on him what it is to support this sodding wonderful football club

Turning to the guy next to me seconds before Yannick made his telling pass to DG to score our 2nd and saying "I bet he balloons this one"

The insane screeching noise that I could hear when Dwight bagged our 3rd - and realising it was coming from me.

The steward with dreadlocks in front of the liverpool fans spotting the pitch invader, thinking 's***, this is my moment' and then making the a wild dash to the half way line before hitting him with a shoulder tackle and carrying him off.

If anyone has a video of this please upload it, i was in hysterics

He carried this bloke off under ONE arm. Not a steward to fook with methinks.

Holmesdale end behind left upright, the Liverpool keepers face as Dwight Gayle strokes the ball past him for the second was a picture.

He knew then the writing was on the wall...

Watched from my sick bed. 'you'll never walk alone' suddenly stopped and 'Glad All Over' drowned out the remaining scouse Then the match oommentator said this season has belonged to the Palace 12th man. Even on my death I was one of the 12th. Tears in the mincers Missus thinking I'm silly.

Had that experience with my boy too. He's been coming since he was 3 (12 now), we were at Hillsborough, he's been to 80-odd games home and away, but THIS was the one I think he'll never, ever forget.

I've never heard noise like it at Selhurst before. Never. So great it was the only game on too - the eyes of the country and the footballing world were on us and we gave them an experience none of them will forget in a hurry.

We all, as a club, did ourselves proud that amazing Monday night.

Mine is fifteen nearly sixteen and was about 4 for his first game (under Bruce v Grimsby) and with his older sister lives with their mum - so its our lil bonding session every fortnight or so and although he is a Palace fan obviously I think a little lightbulb went on that this club is somehow different from so many others..both of us singing and jumping around like lunatics, it was so loud and just raucous...it reminded me of when I used to go with my dad, stand in the Holmesdale with 30k in the ground back in the mid - late 70's

It was magic

No Clue & I had brought her boss to the game, she had previously been taken to Chelski, she couldn't believe the noise, the passion, the atmosphere.

Went in the WH prior to the game, many thanx to Danny for the tkts & also how hard he & his staff worked all day, so VERY well done.

Got to see some old & new HOLer's:

Gujimaddog
Collier Row Eagle
Hibbystu(be careful what you post on FB)
