Leaving the game 15 minutes before the end to catch an early train (from Selhurst Stn)to London, seeing some of the Palace Women's team on the platform, news filtering through of what was happening (accompanied by an almighty roar from a mile away), and watching the closing minutes on someone's iPhone Sky Sports subscription.

I'm not even joking. I have never left a game early in my entire life and it is already my biggest regret in life.

The game just looked dead and buried by 75 mins. We could barely get into their half...

The difference between my 9 year old boy Nate from the sheer disappointment of going 3 down to his face when our 1st went in then building more when our 2nd went in and I said I told you it wasn't all over and we're not going to lose this now, we got 'em, then absolute joy when our equaliser went in, picking him up and hearing him screaming and shouting. Very special and will stay with me for a long long time. What an atmosphere. This season has been all the more special as I never thought I would make it after had to have major spinal surgery on the day we were hammered by Birmingham at home March 2013 and suffering even more listening to it on the radio, been living the dream since then ...

Was down near the front of the Arfur with my son, really close to Bolasie when he pushed the ball past Glen Johnson as if he were a training cone and BELTED down the left wing to set up the second goal. Most exciting moment ever at Selhurst.

Just been watching the Sky full-match recording yet again. I now love it after Liverpool score their third and Suarez takes the ball from Wardy to hurry back to the restart so that Liverpool can score lots more goals. Such arrogance! After we score our second, it's Glenn who takes the ball out of the net and hurries back with it for the restart. Love it!

Incidentally, for our second goal Glenn was careful to stay onside before following up in case there's a rebound from Dwight Gayle's shot. For the third, Tom Ince was clearly lurking in an offside position. Good job the shot went straight in!

Ode to the Liverpool game

Well DANN Palace! WARD a comeback! Liverpool were quite simply blown away by a GALE, whose finishing was absolutely LEDLEY. DIKAGOI [de cash] we paid for him, £6 MILLEN quid, was well worth it. Liverpool were not in the same PARISH as us; we didn't give them an INCE. They weren't even on a PARR with us. DELANEY thing that would have made it better was if we had got a deserved winner. We may have been PUNCHEON above our weight but we CHAMAKHed them on the break. JE DINAK of playing the ball wide worked wonders. As for Yannick when he has the BOLASIE feet he just cannot be stopped. But what about the Liverpool back four?! Rodgers should BANNAN for life. SPERONI a thought for TONY PULISman on duty who had to deal with a few of their MOXEY fans after the game when they left their coach and went after some of our lads. JEROMEly thing left to write is that I hope we all have MURRAY, MARRIAPA memories of a brilliant Palace performance and of a great season. LOVE YOU CPFC!

The steward with dreadlocks in front of the liverpool fans spotting the pitch invader, thinking 's***, this is my moment' and then making the a wild dash to the half way line before hitting him with a shoulder tackle and carrying him off.

If anyone has a video of this please upload it, i was in hysterics

Here you go, enjoy

'They could be looking for 5 or 6'

Agree totally only thing to mar such a night was his comments - didnt have a positive thing to say about palace, you could hear the disappointment in his voice as we came back at them. The chest down & on by Murray for Gayle was as good as i have seen by any striker let alone the excellent goals yet all he says is Liverpool player names. What a bad Liverpool loser - oh sorry he isnt Liverpool is he - he is a commentator so must be neutral!!!!!

Listening to BBC radio5live :
1. Alan Green..........talks through every Liverpool player by name...and only manages 'palace' or 'the Palace player' when we do something in the game.
2. S. Clarridge ......(I think).......after our fight-back.....saying 'it's a privilege to be here!'

I do not normally enjoy radio commentary of CPFC games live.....but , I must admit, this game will stay with me for a long time because of my surprise and satisfaction generated by the events from 75 minutes onwards.

Great post wally. Had a very similar experience with my 12 year-old lad. Thought the game was dead & buried (didn't we all) then the growing wonder and excitement from the 1st goal to the 3rd and the just incredible atmosphere which built and built and built until it was unlike anything I have ever experienced in 40 years of watching Palace. Just unique.

So please about your recovery from surgery too - bet that made it even more special for you and your boy. Great stuff mate

Has to be punching my Dad in the face...and sending his glasses flying after Gayle's first made it 3-2!!!

Luckily he was on the end of the row and managed to charge down two steps and bundle into the bloke whose feet they were by...just before he stamped on them.

Poor bloke thought he just wanted a hug after the goal

OH ANDY JOHNSON'S MAGIC...
