Questions for Blind Eagle: What was your career and what were your very worst atrocities? Were you deported to the U.S. or did you go voluntarily? Are you banned from re-entry to the UK?

Sounds as if SP is Twinkletoes by comparison.

I was in the manure(animal dung business) for fifty years having served a grimy apprenticeship under my Grandpa for ten years in glorious south Devon. My one and only problem in those days related to my being refused refused entry to St.James Park to see Exeter City play simply because I smelt so bad. Grandpa collected and sold animal dung with the very best of traders and we would walk a million miles for a free load of horse or pig dung as well as some other pungent varieties. Unfortunately Grandpa never told me about the many "wide boys" in the business, mainly from the London area, who made it a pretty cut throat past time so I realized that to survive I had to thin out the competition mainly by my enduring threats to hang serious competitors over pig dung pits until they agreed to back off and let me forge ahead in the business. Only once did I have to actually string up a "wide boy" and he spread it around that I did indeed mean business as our pig dung was the real McCoy. My business strategy worked very well and I went on to make a fortune which I brought with me to the US as a welcome immigrant who was not exactly deported from the UK but seriously persuaded to move on because the offensive odor that emanated from our storage installations was having an adverse effect of quite some proportions on the Devonian tourist industry. Yes I understand I can return to Britain always provided I promise to take a bath and change my clothes regularly which is not an inconvenience for me here in the US. Believe me one man's dung is another man's treasure so cheer up my lads bless em all!.

Haha brilliant blind is a pigsh*t millionnaire!

One of the most brilliant things I've read in years on this site. Kudos.

In my experience in dealing with 'hard' men in business is going along with their pomposity as it is all based on their arrogance. So great it is that they are unable to spot a piss taker. The best 'top 'men were those who were level headed and able to listen to others, sifting, quietly, the useful from the rest.

Having shifted a trailer load of horse manure not half an hour ago, I admire anybody who wants to make a career out of sh1t. Mind you, Fergie did.

But you said you didn't take any s*** from anyone. Not only did you, you made a fortune out of it.

You weren't the bloke that used to advertise his own in the Advertiser were you at 50p a pot. "Grow your crops with my plops" was his slogan.

I urge you all to read the El Tel interview in The Sun today. Then compare to CPFC2010.

We are lucky to have barstewards like CPFC2010, and not some robbing crooks with no morals and selective memories.

Steve would rip you a new one for that unforced schoolboy error, never mind the punctuation errors.

Fascinating tale, blind eagle - but how come you are a palace fan?

I was born and bred in Portland Road ,South Norwood, and went to school at Beulah Hill. My Dad was wanted by The Palace when he was sixteen but his mother wanted no footballers in her family ,however, as a consequence,we were never permitted to talk in our house about any football team other than The Palace. I have been a faithful follower of The palace for 7o years now and its the only football team that I have ever been interested in.
