No offence to the OP but why are so many Mags spending so much time and energy coming on here to tell us how sh*t Pardew is and why they hate him so much?

He's gone now lads, it's not your problem any more. Let us get on with having him as our manager and you can go back to supporting your club and whoever is unfortunate enough to get the job at the Toon.

Because I live in Forest Hill, my best mate played for Palace and I care about what happens to your team - that's why.

Great points est1905 - fully agree. No manager could have done much better - we see the rubbish served up weekly.

I think he will do well there and no manager worth his salt will come to Newcastle where you are guaranteed any player who shines is sold at the first opportunity.

You have to worry about a bloke who preferred Mullins over Mascherano, and Harewood over Tevez though.

Or, alternatively, the guy that knew the clauses in the loan contracts regarding payments over and above certain appearance numbers?

I take on board what you've said, but even José Mourinho couldn't achieve anything under your clubs ownership, who sell their best players from under the managers nose, and as for having 70 year old Graham Carr buying players at his digression, you will never be anything other than an average mid table side.

Newcastle United is now a fully fledged corporate business within the Mike Ashley group of companies and ran accordingly. It's not a football club in the true sense of the word any more. Sad but true, and it's now up to the NUFC supporters to do something about it and rid yourselves of this burden.

It's not just you though mate, we've had Mag after Mag come on here telling us in great detail about what's wrong with Pardew and giving us untold stats about his time in charge of Toon and every other club he's managed. I don't get it. If Warnock got a job at another club I wouldn't be on their boards for days giving chapter and verse about why I was glad to see the back of him. I'd just say good riddance and let them get on with it.

Why is it so important to the Mags that we are aware of their every thought about Pardew? What makes them spend hours and hours on our boards when they've already got their wish and hounded him out of their club?

I genuinely don't understand why they think we're that interested in their views. Can anyone enlighten me?

Hi all - firstly, we think Palace is an excellent Club, very welcoming and its our favourite away trip in London.

Just a quick one to explain why Mr Pardew wasnt liked up here - we dont expect to win anything, never have, poor Pardew had an impossible job under our owner but we didnt like;

Alan Pardew was the first Newcastle United manager to lose 6 consecutive Premier League games in over 100 years.

In the 2013-14 season, Alan Pardew’s Newcastle United lost 4 home games in a row without scoring a goal – the first time in the club’s entire history that this has happened.

In the 2012-13 season, Newcastle under Alan Pardew lost their final 3 home games, the only time in the club’s history that they have done so.

Alan Pardew has failed to win 114 out of the 186 games he has been manager at Newcastle United.

No Premier League club suffered more home defeats in 2012-13 than NUFC under Alan Pardew.

The 0-6 home loss to Liverpool was the biggest home defeat since 9th Sep 1925 (vs Blackburn).

In 2014 Alan Pardew’s Newcastle United have failed to score in 18 out of 38 Premier League matches (47,4%).

Alan Pardew’s Newcastle United went 102 games without scoring from a corner.

Alan Pardew has lost 4 out of 5 FA Cup games as Newcastle United manager. Of the 4 eliminations, 3 were against lower league opposition.

Alan Pardew has conceded more goals against Sunderland as manager of Newcastle United than Keegan, Dalglish, Souness, Roeder, Allardyce, Kinnear and Hughton combined (12 vs 11).

Alan Pardew’s Newcastle United have conceded 9 goals to Sunderland (think Millwall with an even shallower gene pool) in their last 4 encounters.

Alan Pardew has managed Newcastle United to its first series of four consecutive derby losses vs Sunderland ever.

Alan Pardew has lost more Tyne-Wear derbies than the previous 22 Newcastle United managers combined.

Im sure he will do better there under a much better owner, best of luck to Palace.

All very valid points mate but he kept you in the PL, and thats all were asking.......mind you if we kept loosing to seaweed like you lot against the mackams i would have the hump.

We can't clear the first man nine times out of ten but we're still one of the top teams to score from set pieces this season. How sh*t must your corners be?!

That sounds bad, but then he did win 72 of them, divided over 4 seasons in charge totals 18 wins a season, which I'd say is pretty good!

Wor Jackie - some of us are interested to hear from other fans.... that's why the away forum was created.

Don't be put off by those fans "who don't get" why you're on here.

All the best to you and your club for the rest of the season.

Only time will tell if you are right and if so, Palace are in for a torrid time..... obviously I hope Pardew will keep us up at least!

Take care.

You're asking me what it's all about, and I can't tell you because I don't know what's going on myself.
