Latest rumour on BBS Been told that we have bid 11.8 million for Remy,and if Chelsea except he could have his medical as early as Thursday. And the same source told me that if Remy comes ,Gayle is going to Bournemouth for 8 million.

Been told that we have bid 11.8 million for Remy,and if Chelsea except he could have his medical as early as Thursday. And the same source told me that if Remy comes ,Gayle is going to Bournemouth for 8 million.

I don't think the Times is right on this one.

Remy will be third/possibly fourth choice if he stays at Chelsea this season; and like Cabaye, wants and needs regular game time ahead of the Euros next year.

Plus there's the draw of playing for Pardew again; and hooking up with an old team mate in Cabaye.

I also expect he wants to stay in London; and feel certain we will agree a deal with Chelsea to sign him.
