All these reports seem to be just recycling the one from a French paper. Nothing new has been added in the last few days from what I've seen. I still have hope, but wouldn't be in the least surprised if it comes to nothing. My daughter's boyfriend is a Boro fan and their sites are saying Pards has met with Patrick Bamford. No idea how true it is, but we're obviously in the market for a striker and if Remy doesn't happen, it could be one or more of him, Austen, N'doye and the rest. "You can feel the stadium jumping. i know we have just broke the bank for yohan cab , but i think that 15m for rely would be worth it, tie him to a long contract at 28 years old he is in his prime and the best you will get anywhere if we bid 12-13 m ill think they take it , he is absolute class will get 20+ goals every season fit into our team well players around him will want to stay , come on palace push this one on

Think we have more chance of getting Remy. Bamford is young and English, Chelsea need english players in their squad and lets be honest neither are getting near the main team to start.

Seems to be someone on bbs saying we initially bid 11.5 with an agreement with Remy being made about contract rejected and we are going back in for 13 mil today. Just passing the message across. Not sure if he is known as a good source or not.

This sounds right. The link is (I hope!) more than just recycling. Also maybe if comments on the Bamford thread are accurate, we might be in for Bamford on loan?

Remy's odds slashed to 5/6 on SkyBet. Not too sure how relevant that is, or whether it's a Sky mechanism to get more bets coming in, but the odds are shortening.

Bookies odds slashed? from Evs-5/6 is nothing. Its impossible to get a decent bet on these kinds of markets. Would suggest that Chelsea close to signing another striker is the reason the odds have dropped slightly but would hope that we are not far off doing a deal. Have heard Remy wants to come to Palace.
