I can't honestly see Liverpool letting him go. They've got a fourth round FA Cup tie, the two-legged Capital One Cup semi-final V Chelsea and their Europa League tie V Besiktas to add to the demands of the PL.

Where did you get this information? The 2014/15 FA Rules are: 6.6.5 Youth Loan Transfers Sanogo was 21 on 1 July 2014 so would not qualify... Well he does, the dates I quoted are the recognized dates by FIFA, UEFA, and THE FA, so will be automatically adopted by all Leagues.

He will qualify as a U21 but would not be considered a youth loan as per previous rule quoted in the FA rules.

I don't know Liverpool's intentions on this matter. At present Liverpool have five recognised full-backs in Glenn Johnson, Alberto Moreno, Javier Manquillo (On Loan) Jose Enrique and Jon Flanagan.Andre Wisdom is out on Loan. They have these full-backs but Liverpool have been playing with a back three of late and in fact have utilised midfielder Emre Can in the defence.

If they're currently playing 3 at the back and have Moreno and Flanagan as cover... Pardew has managed him for 8 months so I would completely trust his judgment. Proven at this level, could be a really good deal for us.

Surfacing again on Twitter. Most probably just a rumour plucked from nowhere, but I thought i'd still post as a sort of suggestion/rumour. Think he'd be good competition for Souaré. Attachment: Screen Shot 2015-07-31 at 11.00.55.png (360.80Kb)
