And he never does answer the question about beating his wife.

The irony is that Steve Hedley was the wife beater!

It's obvious the Union are trying every angle to wriggle out of it, looking at technicalities.

Except that he wasn't!. Try reading the whole article rather than just the headline....

Explain.........

The article finishes with a conclusion that Hedley still has a case to answer even though initial investigations cleared him.

The point I was making originally was that Hedley falsely accused Ferrari of wife beating when he has an ongoing case of domestic violence against him.

A tip for you is not to be so smug and read the whole article yourself

I've finally got round to listening to this.

Hedley was undoubtedly being a total pr1ck, but I think what he was trying to demonstrate (with all the tact of a bull in a china shop) was that the question being put to him (about the result of the breath test) was more complex than a simple yes/no answer.

i.e. "are you still beating your wife?" is not a yes/no question, because without further clarifying, either answer implies that you have beaten your wife in the past.

Sadly, he was just too dense to get his point across, and rather than attempting to explain what he was doing, just kept repeating the question.

So, in short, he's a beligerent c0ck, but it's not quite as surreal a question as it seems at first glance.

More strikes over the night Tube.

The defence of the well paid drivers taking this action is that it's not actually them, but the office staff who are the worst affected by the new hours. But it never was a 9-5.

There are still generous bonuses on offer to them including the launch bonus but really they should be taken away.

Nice row between Boris and Sadiq Khan now.
